President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

The bond market doesn't seem to agree with him. 2-year and 5-year notes inverted yesterday, and 2s and 10s are flattening, and are going to invert. 2s and 5s inverting are usually a prelude to 2s and 10s flattening, which often tells you a recession is coming if you aren't already in one. The stock market acts like an adolescent. And with all of the liquidity the Fed flooded the markets with creating a phony overleveraged bull market over the last several years, it has been like an adolescent on a double dose of adderall. The bond market is usually the adult. And t the bond market is not handicapping things based on proclamations by Larry Kudlow. It doesn't mean that the bond market doesn't have it wrong, or that Larry Kudlow doesn't have it right. It wouldn't be the first time the bond market has gotten a recession wrong, although it gets them right more often than it gets them wrong. It would, however, be the first time Larry Kudlow has ever gotten anything right.
