I remain forever fascinated by people's inability to conceive the possibility that powerful, well-known people residing in a borderline mafia state might, just might, have more than one enemy. :)

When you tell me something is unprecedented, and folks express outrage over what has happened, call Trump a murderer, and say the actions do represent American values, it’s not whataboutism to point out previous examples of the same activities, that occurred under the previous administration, yet elicited no outrage.

Did you know about it when Obama did it or do you just do a Google search every time Trump does something awful to see if Obama or Clinton or some other liberal did something that's kinda, sorta the same thing?

You don't get it. They've been offered compassion and help. And they either reject it or they accept it, then turn around and vote for the guys who think only weenie losers are compassionate and that help is for effeminate libruhls.

Perdue! A chicken in every pot. Try not to eat it all at once.

Speaking of outrage, I see you haven't gotten your marching orders to gin up yours over this yet. Or is this just previous examples of the same activities (maybe -- if you include all of the 44 of the previous officeholders combined. But even then, no.)

To mangle a quote from Churchill, sometimes the free-market is so precious you have to protect it with a bodyguard of tariffs.

In this case, whataboutism isn't even really the issue. As tragic as it is - and it's tragic! Terrible! - it is not beyond comprehension that, in the influx of refugees someone would die in US custody after traversing an entire country and arriving at the border having not eaten or drank water. There's only so much the US can control in that situation.

On the other hand, there is much the US can control about mass gun deaths in America and it is not doing that. And Obama absolutely wanted to make good changes there.

Couldn't have said that any better. And as far the coolness @Alma is talking about, whatever. I don't care about that. What I do care about is the fact that Obamacare is saving lives. The elimination of lifetime maxiums alone on insurance policies is gigantic.

The Ayn Rand Republican scumbags these people are voting for want to take that away. I do care about that - very much.
