All I know is that he could have retired after "I'll Be There" and still be remembered as one of the all-time greats. He hadn't reached his 12th birthday when he recorded it. Damn.

When Thriller came out? In 1982?

    I hadn't been conceived yet.

Ebony and Ivory will always get a pass from me because of the awesome SNL skit featuring Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy.

Anything McCartney touched in those days pretty much blew. The only duet worse than E&I was Say, Say, Say.

Shit... just remembered another one worse: The Girl is Mine.

I couldn't agree more. Painful stuff.

Dana Carvey does a great McCartney. Blubbering all the way.

I'm a pretty unabashed Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney fan. That said, I also love Stevie Wonder but don't like "Ebony and Ivory."

It's funny, but I can't handle much McCartney anymore without seeing Dana Carvey shredding him. I still like some of the Wings stuff, though.
