    Actually:
Good: Torrie, Ashley, Kelly, Layla, Maria, Mickie, Candice Michelle
Bad: Ariel, Jillian, Melina, Michelle, Kristal, Trinity (more neutral b/c she's never on TV anymore), Victoria

I didn't put Sharmell b/c she's probably going to be with King Booker during the MITB match.

But who cares? It's going to be Melina having to carry Ashley the entire match anyway. Didn't Vince realize his mistake two years ago with Christy Hemme? I guess not.

I think Trinity got fired. I'd say I miss her, but I'd be lying.

And Ashley gets them lots of pub by way of her Playboy spread. And admittedly she IS hot. They'll discard her soon enough.

If they were serious about their women's/divas division, they'd hire Lizzy Valentine yesterday. She could be their next Trish.

Is Cheerleader Melissa of APW fame still competing? She's already a Cauliflower Alley Club "Future Legend" award winner. Speaking of the CAC, they hold their annual gathering every year in Vegas. Perhaps that's another reason to gather SportsJournalists.com (pro wrestling fans only) folks in Sin City?

  4. she works for SHIMMER, an ROH-affiliated all women's promotion.

That's a great reason to go. I think they've opened up some in recentyears to get more memberships. There was a time CAC was still pretty kayfabe about things.

To quote my late grandmother, "A hard head brings a soft ass." That said, I don't think anyone will get real serious about drugs and wrestling until you either get a major-tier star dying at his peak (Eddie Guerrerro wasn't quite there yet. Very popular, but didn't have the mainstream name) or -- perish the thought -- someone dying in the middle of the ring during Raw or a PPV. I think we sometimes don't focus on what we need to until we are shocked into a brutal reality, and I don't think McMahon or anyone will come to grips with the issue until one of those two scenarios happens.

Imagine if HHH bought it during Summerslam or one of his beloved muscleheads didn't quite make it out of the locker room prior to a Raw main event. It's only then that McMahon is going to wake up. A man of his ego isn't going to listen to Chicken Little until the sky drops on his ass.

A friend of mine once had a death pool on pro wrestlers dying in the ring. He is still hell-bent in his belief that Kurt Angle is going to win it.

  7. I think Eddy was pretty close to major tier. Smackdown had some of its best ratings when Eddy was the champ and WWE saw the numbers tumble once they took the belt off him.

Also, Heyman was Smackdown's lead writer.

    From Wrestlingobsever.com:

Mark Briscoe injured at ROH show

Mark Briscoe was injured doing a shooting star press at the ROH show tonight in Detroit. It took them 15-20 minutes to get him on the stretcher to take him out and on the way to a hospital. There was no preliminary indication as to what the injury was or its severity. They did go to a finish after the injury as Jay scored a pin so Mark & Jay won the ROH tag titles over Shingo & Naruki Doi.

Someone at work brought this up when thinking about Wrestlemania, which happens to be on April 1 ... April Fool's Day. Any chance the much-talked about McMahon-Trump feud is simply a hoax? Sadly, I can see that (at least the loser not going bald, that is).

No, Vince will get his heas shaved. He loves shit like this. He can't wait to be bald, believe me.

It's amazing they've sold the public on the notion that Trump may get shaved. Vince is truly the greatest promoter of all time, and it's so funny because he's using one of the oldest gimmicks in the book.

I mean, he's not even selling a match as the main event for the biggest show of the year! He's a genius!

RIP Owen. ...I always loved his bro Hitman.

Funny how reappearing themes pop up in wrestling. Sound kinda familiar? McMahan vs. a billionaire.
