OK. What the hell does this mean for Sunday's match?

OK, that was a pretty darn good match. And there weren't any quirks, like someone running in or the ref taking a bump. It was just two guys working hard. Very, very entertaining, and the crowd seemed really into it.

Did Cena hold up his end ok?

Surprisingly yes. And he fed off the heat he was getting from the crowd.

I'm just worried they won't have much left for the main event at Sunday's ppv.

Glad to hear JC was good.

Yeah, especially Trips on what he'll have left. But he'll get geeked up for it

I think the Cena-Michaels match was better than the one at Wrestlemania.

Just watched RAW and, if you're a fan of quality wrestling, make sure you at least watch the second hour. I cannot believe WWE (or more specifically, the McMahons) gave the fans a 55-minute main event on a TV show. The match was great, probably a couple notches below a 5-star match. It further illustrated why I think Shawn Michaels is the greatest wrestler of all time (with Flair a close second). Michaels (and Flair) ooze charisma and could wrestle a broomstick and make it entertaining. Michaels carrying John Cena for nearly an hour and making him look good was incredible. This will be a match that I'll have burned to DVD very, very soon.

Let's all thank Randy Orton for being a douchebag and getting sent home, thus causing the HBK-Cena match to get the time it deserves in order to fill.

  12. Yes, definitely. Even though the title wasn't on the line, it was a hell of a match. I kept on checking the time and when they were a half hour in, I said to myself, I think they are going to let this match go an hour. What a nice surprise and it worked out well. Obviously could have done without the commercials, but WWE has to pay the bills.
