I have tremendous respect for the old-timers but you cannnot compare going to a 60 minute broadway in the 1960s with today's hour-long matches. The pacing is completley different and many old-timers admit they couldn't handle today's style with all the bumps. Back then, a backdrop was a highspot.

That match was terrific last night. It showed just how good Michaels is. As much as I like Cena and feel he gets a bad wrap, if you go back it's pretty clear Shawn called every minute of that match. Just great stuff.

Very good to hear Cena has improved his ring work.

Michaels is a stud. Just unreal how good he is, and has been

HBK has always been this good. And Cena is coming into his own as far as working, but I still can't stand him being "The Champ." Hopefully they give HBK the belt one last time before Trips comes back and those two feud over the strap again.

Perhaps Cena should turn heel on Sunday. Yes? No?

I thought they were turning HBK heel?

HBK can be both a face and a heel.

Cena sells too much merchandise to go heel, but then again, he's been responding to the boos.

Edge, meanwhile, will he go face? Depending on Orton's situation, where does WWE go with Edge?

HBK was always great as a heel. Cena, not so much.

No matter what happens with Orton, leave Edge as a heel. He's so much better in this role than he's ever been as a face.

Yeah, I think Edge is at his best as a heel, too.

Agreed...Edge is the best heel in the company. His mic work is heel 101 and in the ring he is just as good. He's not nearly as effective as a face.

    Much like Christian Cage.

True. I'm a big Christian fan, although he's basically Edge Lite.

WWE should have kept him around for depth. He could be main-eventing, or on the upper mid-card on SD!

They could have kept him, but I'm fairly certain that when his contract was up, the offer they gave him was a joke (might have even been a pay cut, IIRC). Christian saw the writing on the wall with the political heirarchy firmly entrenched, decided it wasn't worth sticking around there at below market cost and left on his own.
