Man, I watched Raw too last night, and the Edge-Orton match was a great one. I thought the show was decent. I just wish we had got to see Michaels and Cena face off one more time. Now, we got Khali down our throats.

BTW, Mr. Kennedy is simply the best thing going on Smackdown. His promo was great last night. That is all.

The final angle was actually pretty well done, all the way down to having Mr. Kennedy come out as a red herring (I was convinced he'd be cashing in his briefcase when HBK was down). Too bad the payoff was so bad. Once it was obvious the mystery assailant wasn't Kennedy, I was thinking Triple H. Now they've made the entire main-event tier of Raw (which produced three very good matches in the last week) look like losers for getting punked by that doofus.

Though if you're going to build Khali as this tree-like monster, why have Cena put him up in FU position already? Impressive looking, but leave that for later.

And Carlito must really be in the doghouse. He can't even do a heel turn without losing.

Didn't see a lot of the Edge-Orton match because "Heroes" was on. But what I did see, I liked better than Cena-Michaels. The first 20 minutes of that match were a lot of rest holds and headlocks, and as good as the rest of the match was it was kind of slow-paced. Edge-Orton seemed to be doing a lot more hard-hitting spots and packed more action into less time.

I usually work on Fridays and have never seen Smackdown. So that was my first exposure to Kennedy. Gotta say, it's got me pumped. Raw could use some fresh blood in the main event ranks, and if he gets a nice long push toward Wrestlemania it looks like a fun ride.

Kennedy is by far the best thing on Smackdown. He is gold on the mic

Lashley had his shoulder examined by Dr. James Andrews of Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, according to PWInsider. Apparently, it is a nagging injury and he didn't injure it at Backlash. Lashley is scheduled to make an appearance on ECW tonight.

Looks like we are in store for a Cena-Khali feud...ick. Can't see a good match coming out of this...although Cena-Umaga at the Royal Rumble was much better than expected. Still, Umaga is worlds better than Khali.

Hey, what in heck happened to Johnny Nitro? I thought for sure he'd be in the middle of a strong push. Instead, he's an afterthought in a squash mash against Jeff Hardy, and in a bizarro twist, Cade/Murdoch are the focal point instead of the guys who run in to get beat down every time Coach or Edge get upset at whoever.

And it's nice to see they remembered that Kenny exists. What he was doing in the bathroom with Randy Orton ... well, let's not go further.

Nitro has talent, but right now he's stuck in Shelton Benjaminland. Mercury's gone so no MNM. Maybe a Nitro-Melina vs. Kenny-Mickie (real couples) feud will emerge.

Depending on what happens with that, could Kennedy change his mind and cash in the briefcase tonight? I'd prefer to see him on Raw, but other than having Batista win the belt back, there aren't many great options. Well, Benoit, but that's not about to happen.

Moving Capt. No-Sell (taking the crown from Kevin Nash, of course) into main-event territory is the worst idea McMahon's had since...well...putting the strap on himself.

I also sincerely hope they don't intend to keep Ken Kennedy from getting a title shot until the next WrestleMania. Moving him to Raw (perhaps in Orton's place?) might not be a bad idea.

Can I co-sign on that? Ditto what everyone's said about the Orton-Edge match. Too bad the show ended with Khali, though.
