Perhaps Edge goes over to Smackdown and wins the title? Edge-Cena has been done to death and this way, Edge can stay a top heel without the crush of HHH when he returns.

If Edge goes to Smackdown, that would be a shame because all I watch is RAW and he's my favorite.

Given that wrestlers now appear on all brands and PPVs, I don't think you'd forget about Edge at all.

    Taker's done? Dammit man.

I was loving the fact that Vince was giving him one last, lengthy title run before riding his Hog off into the sunset. And Taker being champ (and Mr. Kennedy......Kennedy!) was the only thing keeping me interested in SmackDown. The only way I'll keep watching is if they give the strap to either Kennedy or Edge, not Batista. Batista grew stale as a champion with me, just like John Cena had a while ago.

It's always interesting for an old fogie like me to see these guys wear out their welcome in just a year or so, after growing up with guys like Lou Thesz, who was World Champion for the better part of thirty years. Of course, Thesz, Danny McShane, Gory Guerrero, Dory Funk Sr. (yes, the paternal Guerrero and Funk of recent heroics), et.al. rotated the circuit from city to city. You might only see Thesz defend his title about twice a year in Houston. The rest of the time he would be in St. Louis, New Orleans, Dallas, etc. doing the same thing. The difference was that back then, Houston had wrestling EVERY Friday night. The champs only came around on occasion, while a local stable of lesser heroes kept us happy. The chap's visits were our local form of Wrestlemania and KOTR.

I grew up getting to see the AWA come to Denver once a month. Great stuff. WWF came to town on occasion, too, but not nearly as much as the AWA.

  7. It's because they're oversaturated, rallen. In the old days if somebody got stale he could always go to a different territory for a few months.

Matt Hardy beats Kennedy on Smackdown. Is this a sign that Hardy is ready to be taken seriously now?

Nope. Kennedy could be cashing his MITB shot next week after the cage match between Taker and Batista.

Nobody is ever ready for Matt Hardy to be taken seriously. It just never ever happens. That'll serve him right for having his girlfriend bang Edge on the down low.

Am I the only one waiting for Snitsky to be used by McMahon to keep Lashley at bay or interfere in McMahon's match against RVD and continue the burial on ECW this week?

Why the hell is Snitsky still around?
