    Uh-oh.

Actually, it might be good for his original angle of waiting until Wrestlemania to cash it in. If only Undertaker wasn't injured.

Man, who do they put the title on now? Guess it has to be Batista.

It would be cool if they gave it to Matt Hardy, though I know it ain't gonna happen.

EDIT: Oooooh ... I just had a terrible thought. What if the two main events at Judgment Day end up being Batista vs. Mark Henry and Cena vs. Khali ....

    Ugh.

They had a Mark Henry promo on SD the other night...Or was I just dreaming that?

So Smackdown is royally fucked. Last time they had this kind of problem, they had Kurt Angle jump and win the title in a battle royal. I almost wish they'd let Great Khali have the SD belt and let Cena/HBK/Edge/Orton do their thing on Raw.

Seriously, what in hell do you do if you're booking SD? Batista gets the title, I'd assume, but he's stuck wrestling Booker, Finlay and Mark Henry, all of which we've seen or don't want to see. Benoit would be a safe choice.

They should give the title to some relative newcomer and let him have a run to see if it works out. That's kind of what they were probably going to do with Kennedy, I think. Sometimes it works (Edge), sometimes it doesn't (RVD).

Someone please fill me in. When in the hell did the Hardy's win the tag titles?

I dunno. All I remember is HBK and Cena being the champs...

I'm not sure you can say Van Dam's run didn't work. It was cut short due to the arrest for possession. Had The Whole F'n Show not been arrested, he would have held onto both belts through Summerslam, where he would have dropped the WWE Championship. But he still would have been the ECW Champion.

Edge is Mr. Money In The Bank again.

    Oh, joy.

Until tomorrow night, when he becomes the World champion on Smackdown. At least, that's what I'm guessing.

Perhaps. But I believe they gave Van Dam the title to get the MITB stipulation and One Night Stand over more than RVD himself, who they've never really done more than tolerate. Put another way: they give Randy Orton a lot more latitude than RVD. He might have kept the ECW title for a bit, but he was destined to be a placeholder WWE champ. Which is what Edge was at first, but he built on that pretty well to become the best heel in the business and possibly on the verge of a decent World title reign.

Sorry to threadjack, however, I just have to go on record to say that my dream has come true.

Orton vs. Cena. Skin vs. Skin. Hottie vs. Hottie.

Please God don't let the cable go out right now.

    :)
