  1. I never said Colt was going to come in and be an immediate player in the world title hunt. The SD roster is depleted. Sure you add Edge and Mark Henry to replace Taker and Kennedy . . . (Kennedy). This is a chance to bring up Colt up now and see what he can do. Like we've said on here before, Colt already knows how to wrestle a WWE-style. He can talk, he's funny during his matches and he has some beef on him. If they give the U.S. Title to MVP and have Benoit go after Edge (good idea to whoever posted that one), why not bring up Colt and get him going with MVP? I mean if they can make that Morelli guy the IC champ out of no where, why can't they give Colt a big push to start. I want to start seeing some unpredictable things start to happen. They got it going with the IC belt and now they can get it going on SD with Colt and I like the fact Mark Henry came out on SD. That's unpredictable. You knew he was coming back, but not exactly when and now, probably unfortunately, you have an instant storyline when Taker comes back.

Big Slow (yes, not Big Show) was in that match, anyone?

The injury to Kennedy ... Kennedy ... not as serious as first diagnosed ... could be back in 6-to-8 weeks, maybe a bit longer.

Really looking forward to an Edge-Kennedy ... Kennedy ... feud in time for SummerSlam or Survivor Series.

My bad. I forgot Show wrestled in place of Khali that night...

Good. I can't wait to see Kennedy (... KENNEDY!) back in the ring. He's really impressed me over the last few months. At first, I hated his gimmick. But now he's one of my faves.

He'll probably be back as a face, going after Edge. I'm hoping the WWE doesn't rid him of his edge like they did when they turned Carlito (although he's rightfully back as the apple-spittin' heel now). Kennedy does have tons of potential, especially on the mic. I think he'll be the breakout star in the company during the second half of the year.

That'd be sweet. Kennedy would be a heckuva face chasing Edge.

I wonder if Kennedy was the plan for getting the title off of Undertaker, because it seems a bit foolhardy to pull the MitB briefcase from him unless you knew for sure he was going to miss a long time. Plus he already had the "3xx days until Wrestlemania countdown" angle going, so even if the injury was significant, it wouldn't have affected that.

Kennedy should not be a face, not yet at least. He SHOULD change his look, because when he confronted Edge on Monday, I swore it was Hardcore Holly at first.

They knew Sunday that Kennedy would be out for a while, so why take the chance?

Right, but it sucks that they had to pull the MITB shot from him in the process. Obviously they couldn't have him win the title, but they could have let him keep his title shot. But they had to figure out a way to get Edge in, and there you go.

I think the WWE panicked when they lost Undertaker and changed up all of their plans. Smackdown was increasingly desperate for legit starpower (their main-event scene was a mess) and they landed the top heel in the company. Edge on Smackdown is going to make the show a helluva lot more interesting, no denying that. I think him and Batista could put on a good series of matches. People will pay to watch the top faces attempt to wrangle the title off of that cocky bastard Edge. Benoit vs. Edge, anybody? What a summer feud that could be...

Or maybe revisit the Edge-Matt Hardy fiasco?

I just cant see hardy as a serious title contender.
