I have no qualms about giving HBK a good push; matter of fact, I'd like to see him get another extended run with the belt, though that's less likely now that HHH's return is only a couple of months away.

Their problem is they need to build up a couple of midcarders to be the next wave of main eventers. Had Kennedy not been injured, he'd probably be closing in on that spot. Nitro's apparently in the doghouse (maybe McMahon's worried pushing him would remind people of WCW or something), Kenny's nowhere, and there's no faces with any decent momentum outside the top of the card. They can take damn near anyone and make them a star if they try hard enough (Lashley), but they never seem that interested in trying. And that's why Edge, not someone new, got the suitcase and the quick-flip title switch.

Give me a break...TNA is even worse than WWE at utilizing talent.

Hass/Benjamin would be curtain-jerkers in TNA, just like they are in WWE.

Though I agree that TNA is clueless about utilizing talent, I agree with Claws that Haas/Benjamin would thrive in TNA for one reason and one reason only: they're former WWE guys. That'll get you directly to the top of the heap in TNA. That's all that company pushes!

Actually, I'd just like Benjamin to have a feud with the likes of Daniels, Styles, Low Ki (I'm with you, GS!), Sabin and Shelley. Haas can go away or just go to the indies.

Yeah, but the push will be so confused and messy that in three months they'll in nowhereland. And if you're going to be curtain-jerking, would you rather wrestle Cryme Tyme in WWE or Serotonin in TNA?

It's sad, but I can't think of a good push that TNA's given out since Samoa Joe's rise last year. Angle and Christian got bollocksed up, Daniels got turned with no explaination, Styles has been turned into Christian's synchophat/kid brother, the whole Team Cage thing came about when everyone wanted title shots, but somehow they stayed together after that match, then they've got the Steiners reforming because ... I don't know.

About the only decent angle I can think of is Abyss' ass-kicking and (we can only hope) victorious and bloody revenge turn. That would be enough to make me forget about his mom and Sting's breakfast with James Mitchell.

Cryme Tyme or Serotonin? Hmm. That's actually a tough one.

Seriously, Benjamin should be a solo act. Who has he ticked off? What's his beef?

From what I've heard, the McMahon's and Triple H don't think he cares enough. For my money, there's few guys in WWE who can go with him in the ring. His match against Shawn Michaels on RAW will always be one of my favorites. It looked like he was going to skyrocket a couple of years ago. His performances in the "Money In The Bank" matches at WrestleMania 21 and 22 were highlight-reel worthy and then, he doesn't even get on the card at WrestleMania 23.
Benjamin is NOT good on the mic, though. I've been saying it for the last couple of years, now: WWE needs to bring back the manager role. No, I'm not talking about putting a Diva in a guy's corner. I'm talking about a Bobby Heenan/Jim Cornette/Jimmy Hart type who can talk for their wrestler. That was their main role back in the day, cutting promos for their wrestlers who couldn't do it. It got both the wrestler and the manager over. Here's a few guys I think could benefit from having a manager: Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, Chris Masters, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch and maybe even The Great Khali.

Khali had an "interpreter" last night on Raw. He wasn't a madman-type, just providing what Khali would say if he spoke English.

According to PWInsider and WWE.com, Sabu was sent home before tonight's ECW/SmackDown! tapings and given his release.

Here's an excerpt from Mike Johnson's story at PWInsiderElite.com:
According to one source, the plan for tonight's ECW TV was for Sabu to wrestle Kevin Thorn, putting him over. Sabu reportedly balked at the match, claiming a neck injury. There are some who believe that Sabu arrived late this week expecting to be sent home as he's made noises to others about being unhappy working for the company. There have been some other recent instances of his arriving late and/or without his gear, including a TV appearance a few weeks back where he ended up wearing Daivari's boots and tights.

Also, Mike Johnson later reported that the tentative plan is to move Snitsky to RAW and move him into a feud with John Cena.
Looks like I'll be buying more ROH DVDs pretty soon .......

WTF? Snitsky vs. Cena after we have to endure Khali vs. Cena this Sunday?? Is Vince on drugs?

Good for Sabu. He can make a pretty penny on the independent scene or in Japan, I'm sure. He's not being able to wrestle his style 90% of the time anyway.
