I figured it was Sabu's turn to be Snitsky's victim this week, but instead, Snitsky looks little like the monster he's portraying in a weak match with RVD. The chair shot was nothing as if he was a real "monster" he'd have kept going.

Sabu and RVD can head over to Japan together now.

With so few wrestlers on ECW, it's no wonder why Stevie Richards keeps wrestling CM Punk. At least it was a passable match.

You could also blatantly see the Stryker set up coming in that 3-on-1 with Lashley. I figure now that Stryker costs Burke the match on Sunday with Punk and they beat him down (he and Cor Von) and the Dean Douglas of 2007 turns face or becomes a FT jobber.

Oh yeah, from the WHO CARES file ... Vito was also released today by WWE.

I saw that MSG has two hours of classic pro wrestling on tonight (on DirecTV for me):

5 p.m. (Pacific time) Piper vs. Flair
6 p.m. (Pacific time) KK Bundy, Studd and Heenan vs. Hogan and The Machines.

Is that the one where they had "Hulk Machine."?

If I remember it right, Andre the Giant was suspended for some reason, and soon after they introduced The Machines, including Giant Machine. Then after the interview, Bobby Heenan started throwing a fit, saying Giant Machine was Andre, and he was going to unmask him.

After that, all the babyfaces started coming to the ring in masks and calling themselves Hulk Machine, Piper Machine, Steele Machine, etc., to antagonize Heenan.

According PWTorch, we might have seen the last of RVD on WWE programming last night.

If so, he left doing what he loves -- jobbing to Snitsky.

Technically, RVD went out with a win .... won by DQ. Who says he's getting buried? ;)

Watched only the second of the two MSG shows tonight. The Machines were Hulk Machine, Big Machine and Super Machine. Andre wasn't one of them. One of them looked like Bill Eadie, who has donned the mask before as the Masked Superstar. They did an interview before the match.

Best part of the show, though, was hearing Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan's back and forth stuff. Pure comedic gold.

Other matches on the show I saw - Tito Santana vs. Harley Race and the lame Rougeaus vs. Hart Foundation.

Bill Eadie was Super Machine, I believe, and Blackjack Mulligan was Big Machine (or possibly the reverse). And Andre was Giant Machine. There was also a Hulk Machine, a Macho Machine, an Animal Machine (Steele, George) and a Piper Machine.

If Dusty Rhodes was in the WWF, he could have been the Midnight Rider Machine.
