Heard the show was pretty mediocre. First PPV of the year I haven't either seen live or ordered. Looks like I didn't miss much, with not one standout match on the card.

Coming off what sounds like a so-so PPV is One Night Stand on June 3. They have two weeks to put the card together. If it's true that Lashley vs. Vince will be a match on the card, that's likely to be when Snitsky gets involved and a Lashley-Snitsky feud commences, I reckon.

After that, I wonder if the "ECW" PPV gives us just another hodge podge number of matches with people from the other brands?

Wow. I had no idea ONS III was in two weeks. Bad news. Looks like another rushed show, similar to December to Dismember (probably the worst PPV of all-time)...

That's ECW's legacy to WWE fans who never knew about the Original.

Damn, you're right. I just wish every professional wrestling fan had a chance to attend an original ECW show. It was an experience, the three or four times I attended an ECW event back in the late '90's. The passion and love for their craft was inspiring. Not to mention the in-ring work was incredibly entertaining and the wrestlers really knew how to work the crowd to the point where you felt like a vital part of the show. Before and after matches, the wrestlers would sign autographs, take pictures, and hang out with fans.

One of my favorite wrestling memories was Sandman emerging from the stands nearby our seats and spitting beer all over me and my dad, and then watching it happen on TV that Friday on TNN. I still have the tape.

So let's see...HBK out. Undertaker out. HHH still a while from returning. Sounds like a perfect time for WWE to try giving some of its mid-card talent, like Carlito, Benoit, hell, Shelton Benjamin even, a trial push. If for no other reason than desperation. What are the odds that, and not a Khali-Snitsky-Lashley three-way classic, is what's on tap for the next month or two? :D

If Snitsky even sniffs main event status, the WWE is in serious trouble.

How about pushing an ignore button for Snitsky and Khali?

Can we add Mark Henry too?

You must not have seen the old Herb Abrams UWF ppv's!

Sure, and I'll bet there's a few in TNA who need one too. VKM for starters and Serotonin.

As a collegian, I carried Bill Alfonso's bags from his car to his hotel room one night in Decatur, Ill. He was on the road with Sandman.

I also grabbed Sandman's bags. One very small duffel bag full of clothes, and a styrofoam container holding nothing but Budweiser, orange juice and vodka.
