I can't remember a time when so many main eventers were on the shelf at one time.

I wonder who has been doing most of the the booking lately? I've thought most of the programs and finishes of late have been done pretty well, all things considered. Is Runnels helping out?

Yeah, I heard it was a pretty bad show from friends. Sad, because ONS in 05 was one of, if not my favorite, wrestling PPVs of all-time.

Apparently there was a pudding match between Melina and Candice Michelle that ended with Candice suffocating Melina under the pudding. The ladder match was not as good as expected and Haas had a few botches. Mark Henry-Kane ended with Henry applying a bearhug. Also, the main event was Khali-Cena and lasted about 10 minutes.

Doesn't looked like I missed much.

Orton did a post-match beatdown on RVD and it appears that a concussion angle will be the storyline to send RVD out of WWE.

I've heard they're keeping him around for a few more weeks just to prevent him from jumping somewhere like TNA or Japan.

OK. What the fuck is up with Vince tonight? I know he just lost the ECW title to Lashley, but still. This will not end well.

  6. I guess Vince is going to abuse his power more than ever now that he's "out of his mind."

The only thing I'll say about Raw tonight ... Vince McMahon has been watching Bob Backlund's character in TNA a little too much. Careful, Vince, TNA will sue you for copyright infringement.

Meltzer just reported on his site that Scott Steiner was injured in a TNA match on a card in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was slated to have surgery and is likely off the Slammiversary card where he and Rick Steiner were slated to face Team 3D (Dudley Boys) on June 17.

Here's the Meltzer note from www.wrestlingobserver.com

Scott Steiner was scheduled to undergo surgery on his trachea today in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Steiner was injured yesterday in taking a kick to the throat from Apolo in a tag team match where Steiner & Robert Roode faced Jeff Jarrett & Apolo. He seemed fine after the match, but at 2 a.m., was having trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital.

There was no estimate until after surgery is completed regarding how long Steiner would be out of action, but the preliminary word was that he's not expected back in the ring for a while.

Steiner had just started teaming with brother Rick for a few matches against Team 3-D, including at the 6/17 Slammiversary PPV.

Funny thing is, I think Apollo was trying to get back with TNA at once point recently. He was in the original LAX, but TNA stopped using him because of a visa issue, I believe.

Oh hell, they're going to replace Scott Steiner with Buff Bagwell, aren't they.

Buff is definitely NOT the stuff.

How about they let Sting and Rick Steiner team up again?

It would screw up the Sting-Christopher Daniels angle. Wait, that's already kind of screwed up. Never mind.

Worst part is there's two more weeks of TV already taped, so it's not like they can work up an injury angle to explain his absence. They'll either drop the match off the PPV or cobble together something at the show and bring in some old guy off the indy circuit.
