  1. Disagree on Murdoch, he's a really good worker. Dump Cade, perhaps.

To Raw: MVP, Kennedy (...Kennedy!), London/Kendrick
To Smackdown: Khali, CM Punk, Masters, Sandman
To ECW: Cryme Time, Super Crazy (clap, clap, clapclapclap), Regal/Taylor

ECW used to have great tag teams (the Eliminators, the Pitbulls, the Dudleys, Benoit/Malenko), so it's only right that it should restart itself around tag teams. Bring back the straps, put 'em on Regal and Taylor or Burke/CorVon to start, and go from there.

Also, ditch this Nitro Girls redux (Extreme Expose, or whatever the fuck it's called).

Vince realized he was Robert DeNiro around 1994-95. He'd just begun sending his boys to Memphis to work with whatever promoter (Larry Burton, et al) was running there at the time. If I remember right, Tatanka was sent to feud with Lawler. For some reason, Vince began sending video promos to put over the feud in favor of the heel Tatanka. He came off as this dark, demented, evil owner. And this was before he started appearing on his own TV as a character. The videos were amusing. He even got some dap from the sheetwriters. Remember, this was all new at the time. But that experience, more than anything (aside from Vince Russo in his ear) made him believe he could act.

I know Harley Race helped train Murdoch, but I just don't like him as a wrestler with Cade. In fact, I'd be inclined to push Cade as a singles babyface for a bit right now.

Yes, you can dump Murdoch and Marella. Have them lose their titles on the Raw show that night. In fact, I think Marella will lose the IC title to someone really soon.

It wouldn't make much sense if they moved Murdoch and had them drop the straps a week after winning them.

Make me a McMahon and here's what I'd do for the draft and WWE in 2007:

For RAW, I'd add: Chris Benoit, Mr. Kennedy, Batista, Undertaker, King Booker. (Note: I don't think RAW needs much. Benoit would provide a lot of options. Teaming him with Cena would give Cena some credibility with the male fans who hate him; having him feud with Cena would help the champ learn in the ring; plus, potential matches with Shawn Michaels down the road have the possiblity to be very exciting ... as for Kennedy, it's a no-brainer. He's a hot commodity and he should be on the flagship show. If Cena were to continue to struggle getting respect from fans, Kennedy might make for an interesting alternative. ... Batista, 'Taker and the rest of the crew would had some more star power to the injury depleted show.).

For SmackDown, I'd add: Carlito, Jeff Hardy (Matt Hardy is officially on the SmackDown roster already), Randy Orton, C.M. Punk and Super Crazy. (I'd make SmackDown the home of the younger, established stars. Edge is the perfect champion for this group and feuds with Mysterio, Orton, Matt Hardy and eventually C.M. Punk would be really entertaining. This would probably end up being the best show of the three brands, but the McMahons would still focus on RAW since it has the most "stars.")

For ECW, I'd add: Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Johnny Nitro, Kenny Dykstra, Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Gregory Helms, Jamie Noble and Jimmy Yang. (I'd turn ECW into a brand for the young, up-and-coming stars. It'd almost be like the final step in the developmental process. I'd also let the show focus on actual wrestling. If I were McMahon, this would be the show that I'd want to beat TNA and ROH at their own game by putting the best young athletes out there and letting them do their thing.)

    Any suggestions?

When ECW restarted, someone high up at WWE described it on record as Raw being the major leagues, Smackdown being AAA, ECW being AA, Ohio Valley as high A and Deep South as low A (though they've cut ties with Deep South now).

I guess they're doing the entire draft in one show instead of spreading it out over five weeks like last year? I know they're promoting draft fallout for the Raw coming to my neck of the woods.

I won't try to predict who goes where or even guess who should go where, but I hope they put a stop to the random crossovers and keep the shows better deliniated after the draft.

Did anybody see the photos of the Mexican wrestlers in SI this week? Seemed like a kinda random photo page for SI, but I enjoyed it being a wrestling fan. I had never seen Mistico before.

Haven't seen the SI issue you speak of. Does anyone have the SI when Hogan was on the cover back in the early 1980s? Would love to read that story again.
