If there'll be matches, does this mean that the broadcasters aren't changing brands or is this how some of them will be picked? Ugh.

A heel Benoit in a program with Cena, who's already hated by many, would be just what Raw needs.

It looks like Cena-Orton is the cards. They've been working house show matches.

Then where is Benoit going to fit in?

Maybe Cena-Orton feud through Summerslam. After that, a Benoit-Cena program that finishes at Survivor Series.

Nowhere was Cena more hated than at ECW One Night Stand 2006. I know. I was there, in the second balcony, hearing him called names that would make Tony Soprano blush.

From Dave Meltzer's wrestlingobserver.com on tonight's draft show:

The Raw draft show and the Mr. McMahon Appreciation night of Raw takes place from a sold out Wilkes-Barre, PA. Confirmed as appearing on the show in some form are Mick Foley, Jesse Ventura, Steve O, Bobby Heenan, Moolah, Mae Young, Steve Austin, Bret Hart (who I'm presuming will be on tape and not in Wilkes-Barre), Jimmy Snuka, Lou Albano, Snoop Dogg, Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, Mark Cuban, Bob Costas, Iron Sheik and Gene Okerlund. Most of these names won't be there live. They have been feverishly trying to get some of Mr. McMahon's real, perceived and/or storyline enemies to make appearances whether live or on tape for the show. As of this morning, they were still in last minute attempts for some names. Basically, if you can think or any high-profile person who fits the bill of a real, perceived or storyline enemy of Vince, that person was likely discussed and talked about. The show is something along the lines of a series of interpromotional matches, where the winning side gets to pick a wrestler from the losing side. John Cena vs. Edge in a battle of champions will open the show at 8 p.m. tonight.

Of all of those names, Bret Hart's name is the most interesting.

And, I'd guess Trump would be doing something, too.

Considering Michaels and HHH are rehabbing injuries and not in Pennsylvania, it's reasonable to assume Hart would appear.

Please don't tell us they're splitting up JR and Jerry. That would be terrible!

Actually, Meltzer said Hart's appearance is a taped item.

    From wrestlingobserver.com:

The Bret Hart promo tonight will be a new tape that was just shot outside a gym in Hawaii. It's a short clip, maybe a minute or less. I don't know how it turned out but the idea they wanted was for him to act like he was surprised a camera crew found him, for him to act like he was blowing them off, and to cut an on-air in character promo on Vince McMahon.

Iron Sheik is going to go on one of his crazy rants tonight. Watch it, if you haven't heard Sheik talk (I ran into him WM weekend). It should be a must-see, as well as Bret (I'm shocked he agreed to return even for a short worked-shoot)....jeez, alot of names coming back. Hopefully an interesting and eventful night.
