Ever read Lance Storm's website? He is known for his straight shooting commentaries and he answers questions from fans from time to time. The link is: www.stormwrestling.com

Kurt Angle makes his TNA TV wrestling debut tonight on Spike. He's wrestling Abyss.

Storm used to write a regular online column that I'd read on the Toronto Star site. He had a mailbag then too and wrote plenty of interesting stuff about life in the WWE, particularly the insane travel.

He hated Air Canada with a passion.

Has anyone gotten a look at The Great Khali on ECW?

Holy Christ, that guy's got enough chin to hook up five guys like myself for life. It might even be bigger than Chyna's back before she had plastic surgery.

    He's a scary looking dude.

Did you see Adam Sandler's version of The Longest Yard? The dude was in that movie too.

wwe.com is reporting that former TNA wrestler Monty Brown has signed with the WWE. Brown's a former NFL player.

I am not a big fan. I suppose he can replace ECW-bound Bobby Lashley in the "big muscular black ex-athlete" slot on Smackdown, and he does a decent enough interview, but what he shows in the ring isn't impressive. There's a reason TNA never gave him an extended run on or near the top, even though he was one of their more charismatic personalities.

I never did see Sandler's take on The Longest Yard.

And say what you will about Lashley, the guy is one BIG bitch. And I mean that in a good way.

Lashley's still green, but he worked for Heyman when the latter went down to OVW to work with the younger development types. Lashley asked to be moved to ECW to work with Heyman. First impression was strong, but with only an hour of TV, as TNA knows, it's tough to get noticed and pushed properly (save for CM Punk).

It also doesn't help that the majority of people there aren't characters in need of developing. We already know who the Big Show, Test, even Hardcore Holly are. I thought the idea was to have the old-school ECW wrestlers in there to help get the next generation of ECWers, but really, that hasn't happened. CM Punk would have happened with or without Tommy Dreamer or The Sandman's help. Mike Knox is better than his first set of matches would have you believe, and it seems like they're about ready to give up on Kevin Thorn. The rest of them are WWE retreads or ECW retreads -- more like an old breed rehashed than a new breed unleashed.

They signed Claudio Castinagalli (I'm pretty sure I butchered his name), a decent prospect in ROH and CZW. That's the kind of hires they need to make in ECW, but instead they're going to make them bide their time in OVW or what's left of Deep South to learn how to work "WWE style" (read: boring and bad). Then when they get to ECW, they're already sanitized to the point that they can be interchanged with the Bashams or Matt Striker without missing a beat. And with this brand's history, that's a fucking shame. But an inevitable one with WWE the only D.J. at the party.

Great, another overblown wrestler who can't ......... wrestle? .... in WWE.
At least Monty's good on the mic, well, until Stephanie McBoobs starts scripting him.
