I wish we could have seen Benoit-Lashley for 30 minutes.

 

This is the stupidest thing I've seen since Mae Young gave birth to a hand.

Considering that champions could be drafted, you would think Cena or Edge would be taken by someone over Torrie Wilson or The Boogeyman. Obviously, none of the brands used the Jimmie Johnson draft card to determine value picks.

Seriously, it all seemed to random that it struck me as pointless. Just throwing darts, save for RAW.

Loved the Lashley-Benoit match, wish that one could have gone longer than it did. Loved that match.

Re: McMahon, I missed the finish. DVR cut out when McMahon walked out the door, which brings me to logging on here to read what happened. Not sure what to think about that. Maybe it's a way to get Shane to run things. Maybe Stephanie comes back. I won't waste time guessing about that angle, though.

Sadly, they'll make it look like the Owen Hart memorial show.

But if I know Vince like I think I know him, there is NO way he wrote himself off TV.

No way.

 

My only question: Vince, why didn't you let the Boogeyman, Khali and a host of other bad performers join you in the limo? Would have been a much better ending.

Also, I wonder if they'll do a DVD of this show because of its ending. Oh, what am I saying, BANK on it.

For all of you who have e-mailed me today, let me just say this: As far as we know, everything that went on last night at Wachovia Arena was part of the show.

For those of you who don't follow professional wrestling (and count me among that group), Vince McMahon and his troupe of professional wrestlers made an appearance at the arena last night for a WWE Raw broadcast. From what I understand, at the weekly show's conclusion, McMahon stepped into a limo that was then shown as exploding on the arena's video screen.

Evidently, professional wrestling fans who have been e-mailing me this morning fear that McMahon is dead.

Rest assured, if McMahon had been killed last night at the arena, it would have been reported on more than just professional wrestling Web sites. The county coroner would have been called to the arena, along with a slew of law enforcement officials.

You see, when someone is killed in an explosion these days, it usually draws a lot of interest. So if you are really that interested in McMahon's fate, stay tuned to WWE broadcasts. By the way, funny coincidence, is that the person from the paper who posted this on the paper's web site is named Joe Soprano.
