Well, it appears as if Nitro will be a main event heel on ECW (which isn't saying much, since Test was also a main event heel on ECW a few months back). I would like to see him start a feud with CM Punk, while Benoit and Burke go at it (which could be tremendous). And then perhaps a big Punk-Benoit match at SummerSlam would be nice.

I'm surprised The Sandman wasn't cut and got shipped to Raw instead. Well, he can't wrestle but I guess maybe he can hype up the crowd in a dark match by swinging a kendo stick at Daviari's skull...

I'm mildly excited to see what WWE has to do with Kenrick/London. Four very solid tag teams on Raw now, if one counts the Hardyz.

I was never sold on Kenny Dykstra and something tells me he'll never live up to the expectations people have for him. I think they'll give him a good chance on Smackdown. But he must be pissed; he was split up from his boo, Mickie James.

Regal to Raw was expected. He and HHH are buds. Guess Dave Taylor fades back into oblivion and that's a good thing.

Actually, this could work to his advantage. Eddy, Rey and Cena all benefited from being on the B show, where they could look and be booked like stars. Even Kennedy got over on SD. If they do the same for Lenny, he could do well.

Take away the Vince bullshit and it was a pretty good Raw with a few good matches, some interesting new faces on the show/new feuds beginning, and another 3 hour episode next week (i guess we'll just have to weed through the shitty vince storyline again). Can't say it really made me wanted to order Vengence though.

WWE just booked Santino versus Umaga on their website and it wasn't even hyped at all on the show. Give the IC title to the Samoan Bulldozer and send Santino back to OVW, please...

Kennedy is gold. What a promo.

I refuse to watch Raw next week. No blue font necessary. That's the truth.

As for TNA, did anyone know there was a PPV last night?

Angle is the champ again beating Styles, Joe, Cage and Chris Harris (who Jarrett gave the spot to) in the King of the Mountain match. Joe and Angle had issues after the decision, perhaps another Angle-Joe match is in the works. Disappointed Joe doesn't get the title here on a 5th anniversary show, but he'd better win the title soon.

    So Vince isn't dead?

  9. I don't like the angle at all, but is this really worse than the blatant exploitation of Eddie in the months following his death until WrestleMania? That was the closest I ever came to not watching altogether.

I think this angle is tasteless, but all the outcry just seems a bit excessive to me. Mainly because he's not really dead.

Sure is. That's how you gain your heel heat back. That promo was priceless.

You're right about the Eddie stuff, but then again, I was rarely watching Smackdown at that time. This Vinny Mac angle, however, is beyond awful. The only thing to do with this angle is to guess how they'll re-introduce HHH or if this is indeed the angle to showcase the shift to Stephanie running the company now. That speech by her last night was so pathetic. Either she's going to say it was her who did it, Coach did it or, as I mentioned earlier on this thread, use Orton as the "bad guy" in this -- killing the perceived "ultimate legend killer", have HHH be the one defending Vince's honor and then have Vince reappear and side with Orton at a PPV, perhaps Wrestlemania.

I'm just glad there's Pro Wrestling Guerrilla nearby if I need a pro wrestling fix.
