There's a separate thread for it, but Dewey Robertson, aka The Missing Link, is in grave condition, according to Meltzer's report yesterday.

Here's a link to another story on him, done by the author of a book about Robertson's life.

What is the point in turning Umaga face and Santino heel? I think they were both pretty good the other way around. And I was disappointed all we got Monday was a video of HHH, instead of some kind of return. I guess the WWE is saying that if you want to see his return, it'll cost you $50 in a couple of weeks.

And as I was telling my wife when that part came on, if there was any way to bet on pro wrestling results, I'd sell everything we owned and put all of the money on HHH to win that match with Booker, because there is absolutely no way he loses.

Am I the only one who's actually getting a kick out of these skits they've been doing with Regal lately? I've been laughing my ass off. It's also gotten me to watch roughly 30 minutes per show, rather than just fast-forwarding through it all on my DVR.

Plus, Cryme Tyme has been cracking me up too.

Santino was shitting himself on a weekly basis -- the fans hated his guts after that first week in Italy, to "die Rocky die" levels. The double-turn was set up or fast-forwarded at Vengeance or whatever PPV that Benoit no-showed so he could kill everyone he loved. Umaga squashed him, the fans loved it, and when he gave Santino the Samoan Spike, the fans chanted "one more time!"

They tripped over Umaga's turn, but they probably did Santino a favor by making him a heel playing the overprotective and assholish boyfriend, a page one entry in the heel character playbook.

He's in WWE hell (development level), not sure about Ron Coomer if he's there or not!

    Thanks, Claws.

And who knows where Ron Coomer is...

Whatever happened to The Baron in your avatar and sig? Those were always good for a laugh.

    Hope this isn't a DB ...

TAMPA, Fla. — Former pro wrestling champion Brian "Crush" Adams died Monday after he was found unconscious in his home. He was 44.

He showed no visible signs of injury and foul play was not suspected, police spokeswoman Janelle McGregor said. Authorities were awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner before proceeding with their investigation.

Adams' wife, who was not identified, found her husband not breathing and called 911 about 11 a.m. Fire Rescue workers later pronounced him dead, McGregor said.

Adams, a former world tag team champion, last performed for the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and served intermittently on the roster beginning in 1990, World Wrestling Entertainment said. WWE spokesman George Cabico had no further comment.

    Ron Coomer?

And it may be just me, but I'm starting to like Umaga for some reason. And the skits with Regal have been fucking hilarious.

But on a hopefully serious note ... Meltzer's wrestlingobserver.com update today reports this:

--Tammy Sytch wrote us to say that she is back taking bookings. She said her boyfriend got her to clean up her act and drop 45 pounds and she's back to being "the old me."

Edit: Meltzer's Friday update said this:

The e-mail address to book Tammy Sytch is www.TammySytchOnline.com

My new favorite wrestler is Big Daddy V.

Between those size 88 DDs and the mural of tatts, the guy looks like the bastard child of Abdullah the Butcher and The Undertaker.

Too bad they didn't come up with this gimmick earlier in his career.
