He's the only reason I watched tonight. I haven't watched WWE in ages. A friend e-mailed and said Stone Cold was making an appearance. I tuned in.

By the way, it was just a one-time pop in ... like his Wrestlemania appearance this year.

Yeah; let me know when Stone Cold returns and I'll tune in. Otherwise I'll look at results in The Observer.

I want to agree, but he looked in much better shape this time, which leads me to believe (hope) he might be back for a bit.

Got some bits from Bryan Alvarez's newsletter. Among the highlights this week (don't read if you don't want possible spoilers, though the way WWE works, the chances that any of this plays out are slim anyway):

    * Kennedy will be the bastard ... bastard. He'll be named at Raw Homecoming in October, wrestle Shane McMahon at the Rumble and then face HHH (probably for the WWE title) at Wrestlemania
    * Edge-Undertaker is another planned WM match. Not sure if it'd be a World title match or not. Maybe UT finally does the WM job?
    * Flair may finally be retiring, at least from active competition. A retirement storyline is apparently close to starting and could extend as far as WM.
    * Monday night's JR-Tazz pairing might be permanent, and Lawler might end up taking Tazz's spot next to Styles on ECW. Seems like that's meddling for the sake of meddling, because the three teams are pretty solid now. But Vince has been trying to break up the JR-Lawler tandem for years, and I don't think he's going to rest until JR gets the boot for good.

Lawler on ECW? It would fit since it is Extremely Crappy Wrestling.

Is anybody really surprised that the son is Kennedy .... Kennedy?

Also there's word that Brock Lesnar might be fixing to sign with TNA. Potentially big, except TNA has this ability to completely fuck up every major signing they've had. One thing: They need to get out of Orlando, the shows being taped there look prefab and stale.

    SPOILER on the McMahon storyline:

    Credit: Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com

As of this week, the current storyline plan is for Mr. Kennedy to be Mr. McMahon's illegitimate son. It is expected that there will be hints slowly dropped on RAW for several weeks until a three-hour episode in October where Kennedy will be revealed as the son. From there, Shane and Stephanie would get involved in the storyline with Shane facing Kennedy in a match around the Royal Rumble. Stephanie would be a babyface in this situation and HHH would come to her aid, revealing that he is Vince's son-in-law. This would set the stage for a HHH vs. Mr. Kennedy match for Wrestlemania 24 with the entire McMahon family involved. Bonnie Hammer of the USA network is said to be a big fan of this storyline. Plans could very well change, but as mentioned before, this is the current direction that WWE is planning to take with the McMahon storyline.

    More SPOILERS:
--Batista is supposed to win back the title at the PPV Sunday.
--Edge and Taker will not be wrestling at Unforgiven. Taker is supposed to wrestle Mark Henry in one of the main events.
