    It's THE UUUUUUUULLLLLLLTIIIMATE WAAAAAAAAAARRRRRIOR!

  4. So I'm waiting here for Summerslam to begin. Did order tonight because I always order the big four. Should be a very hot crowd at the Meadowlands, which always makes an average PPV better and this one seems like an average PPV on paper. WWE needs Trips and Rey Rey to deliver here. Meltzer says Orton and Cena have been having awesome house show matches and this should be the same, even better. We'll see. Title switch tonight? Most likely, at least for sure for Batista. Don't know why Hardy vs. MVP got cut. Seems foolish. Anyone know why Jeff Hardy is suspended?

I think Hardy got suspended for being Hardy. Whether that's backstage attitude, disobeying some order, casual drugs or what, I don't know. He's supposed to come back in the next week, sayeth the Meltz.

Having Triple H and Mysterio not show up on TV at all made the SummerSlam sell worse. Having McMahon and his bastard angle eat up valuable pre-SS time made it much worse. Orton-Cena should be a good match. Batista comes up for big matches, though it's the Great Khali, so what can he do at this point? 3-way IC should be fun, because all three guys are at least passable workers, and Umaga is flat-out fun to watch (he'll probably lose the belt when Kennedy pins Carlito, my guess is).

I think Hardy-MVP got cut because MVP was diagnosed with a heart condition last month, the first time the cardiac screening that got instituted in the wake of Eddy Guerrero's death actually caught something. It's not fatal, but it does lead to an increased risk of cardiac arrest. So they're probably just being really careful with him (thus the Holyfield-Hardy boxing match on SNME).

  6. Totally forgot about MVP's heart condition. It's a shame because that had the potential to be a very good match, IMO.

  7. One match down. Actually a pretty entertaining match between Kane and Finley.

  8. We have an Armando Alejandro Estrada sighting!

Is WrestlingObserver.com down? The main page is empty. They usually have PPV results.

  10. Yeah, it is down. If anyone wants me to post results as they happen, I will.

I think they dropped the middle name for Estrada. Why, I don't know. He was an odd choice for a commissioner, because heel commissioners are played out and he does better as a manager anyway. He would have been pretty good paired with Carlito, though Carlito doesn't need someone to talk for him. Or Big Daddy V -- he'd work better with MegAbdullah than Matt Striker.

  12. I thought maybe they might have him wrestling now because he was doing so down in OVW.
