  1. WTF?! Rey is covered in silver body paint.

Yes, please. I ain't got two dimes to rub together, let alone $40 for a WWE PPV. :(

Ha! They now have "Reydust!" ;D

Maybe that's the eventual tact they'll take with this ECW dictator thing. ECW hasn't been doing too badly as far as putting together decent TV, even though it still galls me to call it ECW when there's DQs and minimal blood/weapons in matches. John Morrison, if nothing else, is hitting an untapped vein with his Jim Morrison-themed character. I thought that switch from Nitro would bomb, but he's growing on me.

Nice to see them giving the ECW originals some wins that I wouldn't have expected (Stevie Richards twice over Kevin Thorn, Balls Mahoney over Elijah Burke, though why is he jobbing all of a sudden? And where in hell is Marquis Corvon?)

Oh good, for a while there I thought Rey's look was too conventional.

  6. These are the results so far. If you don't to see, skip ahead......

Kane beats Finley with a chokeslam. Pretty decent match. They played up Kane's hurt ribs pretty well in this match. Horswaggle appearance, but it was bearable. Pretty decent opener.

Umaga pins Kennedy with Samoan Spike in a very short match. Can't understand the logic with this one. Carlito and Kennedy tried to put out Umaga, but with no luck. Really not much to this match, though it was suddenly made into a no DQ.

They showed a promo for Undertaker coming back at Unforgiven in three weeks. As much as I like the Undertaker, can't justify ordering a "minor" PPV.

Umaga retaining is weird. Kennedy jobbing, also weird. This was a perfect setup to take the belt off Umaga, who really doesn't need it, while not making him look weak. And why not have Carlito take the pin?

Like Meltzer, I figured Kennedy ... KENNEDY! wins the title here as a way for Umaga to not have to do a job.

Seems like Vince changed his mind based on the Internet, which is pretty stupid logic. Then again, I'm not a billionaire.

  9. Another result. . . .

Rey Rey wins in his return. Looked very, very good and it was an entertaining match. They teased a lucha-style match to begin, but that quickly disappeared. Not surprisingly, Chavo worked the knee most of the match, but not in a boring way. They teased Chavo winning with a one leg Boston Crap, but Rey escaped. Finish saw Rey kick out of the Gorey (sp?) bomb. Rey does a standing head scissors to set Chavo up for the 619. Rey hits the 619, does a splash off the top rope for the pin.

Gori Special. Named after Gori Guerrero the patriarch of the Guerrero family.

  11. Yeah, they called it both the Gori Bomb and Special. Anyway, Diva battle royal is up now. Excuse me while I take a shit.
