Pay to make it all go away Vince, eh? It's a nice gesture, but too little too late.

Yep. This smacks of damage control.

    Vince still doesn't get it.

About 10 years too late. All about congress and the media, nothing to do with the welfare of the wrestlers. I guess if the heat that is on Vince accomplished anything, it at least got this through the door.

Too little, too late for VKM.

To update things a bit, here's why TNA will be taping today and tomorrow, courtesy of Meltzer's Sunday update:

TNA will be taping television both Monday and Tuesday night this week. The Monday show will be the first two-hour show that airs on 10/4, as they are taping ten days ahead. Tuesday will be the two-hour show for 10/11, which is the "Bound for Glory" go home show. At this point, no special newcomers are scheduled to at least appear Monday and Tuesday, including no plans as of yet for Jeff Jarrett. Junior Fatu (formerly Rikishi) will be at both shows in a solid role. Expect the shows to feature the people in the key matches on BFG.

Junior Fatu is what they're calling him?

And, from reading the reports, Christian beat him already, too, last week.

If Samoa Joe had gone to WWE, he'd likely have been in the Umaga role (or maybe that was just a way to do something similar to TNA?). I just hope that Rikishi, er, Jr. Fatu, doesn't turn on Samoa Joe and force Joe to get into a feud with him. If it does, can tonga Kid and the Wild Samoans be far behind?

So does he look any different than he did when he was in WWE?

    Nope. Same ol' same ol'.

    Still got the bitties, too.

Here's the clip from when Cornette announced him as Junior Fatu (Mike Tenay is quick to say he's the former Rikishi). It comes near the end of the clip. Also, Matt Morgan is shown in the early part of the clip as he's Cornette's bodyguard.

A little heavier, but his basic look is largely unchanged. He's a mid-card novelty act, so I don't mind him doing a dirty job to Christian in his first match. I'm half surprised they haven't signed Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor to call themselves Cool, Too or something equally cheesy.

A one-hour show, let alone a two-hour show is no place for a Too Cool reunion.
