OK, I'll say it. Is this injury a result of steroids? Just asking.

Also, since so many wrestlers go to Dr. Andrews for surgery and I know he also has other pro sports athletes, has anyone checked him out as someone who might or might have a link to any of these drug companies that are getting nailed for steroids and painkiller prescriptions now in the wake of the Benoit stuff? I think it's a valid question when HHH, Lashley, Edge, Cena, etc. etc. all go right to him.

This is all depending, of course, whether Jericho gets jobbed by the egotistical HHH before he gets his sails in the air.

After all, every storyline in WWE has to go through Stephanie and Trips. And it's not like they've never put business over ego before.

It's official: Cena out 6-8 months.

    From WrestlingObserver.com:

    by Dave Meltzer

    Dave@wrestlingobserver.com

John Cena was diagnosed today with a complete tear of the right pectoral muscle by Dr. James Andrews and will be undergoing surgery today.

He is expected to be out of action six to eight months. The injury took place when Cena gave Mr. Kennedy a hip toss in last night's Raw main event from Cleveland.

Because of the surgery, Cena's championship reign, the longest in company history since Hulk Hogan's title reign from 1984-88, has ended.

The company will now decide on who Randy Orton will face on Sunday's PPV for the championship. HHH would be the most likely opponent, but they just shot an angle for HHH vs. Umaga last night.

Torch is reporting that the rumored main event is Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Umaga.

    Ugh.

Also, I find it very interesting on wwe.com, halfway down the page on the right side is an ad for "No Mercy" that features a countdown clock.

    Hmmmm.

If they make it a 3-way, it gives them the chance to put the belt on Orton without HHH having to do a job. That would make for a prolonged HHH-Orton feud.

Umaga would suck donkey balls. And it's way too early to go back to HHH. I figure he wins it at Wrestlemania.

I'd love to see Orton get a run with the title, but I actually like Trips as champion.

Trips as a champion wasn't half-bad, except he makes everyone around him look like pathetic jobbers.

He's at the stage of his career where he should be elevating young talent, not jobbing them out.

I'd like to see Orton with a long reign. Orton, Carlito and Shelton Benjamin are the only RAW guys I'll still watch.

I'd love to see Carlito and Benjamin up there, but it ain't happenin' for a while to come...

Hmmmm... VKM announces there's a championship match at No Mercy, but doesn't announce who will be in it.

Yep, the Allatoyah is returning ... and returning at the top.
