He hasn't ruined Khali yet ... not that the big goof isn't doing a fine job already of doing that by himself!

he will go down in history as the worst wrestler ever.
...and Vince got the nerve to have the World HW title around his waist.

  3. WTF is Teddy Hart's problem? Meltzer said he got canned by WWE. They were supposed to bring him up to the main roster in November. I know they had a New Hart Foundation going in developmental. Seems like everywhere Hart goes, he finds trouble. Bret should make some sense into him.

Who knows? He's been fired by WWE twice, TNA once, ROH once, cheesed off other indies. Hell, the only reason he didn't get fired by Wrestling Society X was it got cancelled before he had a chance to fuck it up. But he's got enough talent that someone always gives him a chance (Jeff Hardy).

  5. I didn't know it was the second time he had been fired by WWE. It will be interesting to see if he tried TNA or ROH again. Also, I don't know if any one caught TNA last night, but wasn't ODB just in WWE developmental?

From Meltzer's ongoing report on the TNA PPV (w/spoiler result):

Consequences Creed replacing Pacman Jones in our bait-and-switch for the night & Ron Killings vs. A.J. Styles & Tomko for the TNA tag titles are up next.

Now it's a new guy called Rasheed Lucius Consequences Creed and it's not Scorpio, who was the guy who they wanted for the role. Whoever Creed was, a spoof on Apollo Creed, was pretty acrobatic. For an unknown, he did a hell of a job.

Tomko & Styles won with a double-turn corkscrew move on Killings (the move Tomko & Bernard use as their finisher in Japan). Really good match except for one of the most tasteless endings you'll ever see. Pacman threw money in the ring to distract Styles and Killings had Styles rolled-up. However, Earl Hebner started picking up the dollar bills "like a dancer in a strip club" in Mike Tenay's words. Beyond cringe inducing. A former wrestler is paralyzed for life and they think it's something for laughs.

Despite the tacky Pacman stuff (reports say he's supposed to be done with TNA after this show, but Meltzer also said there was an angle proposed if he does stay on longer) Meltzer says the TNA PPV has been a pretty good show. As I type this, the main event (Angle vs. Sting) is all that's left for the night and from reading Meltzer's coverage, Kevin Nash figures to be involved in some way.

  8. Sounded like one hell of a show tonight.

And a 49-year old washed up wrestler (Sting) is your new TNA champion. Kevin Nash will also be back in the ring soon, most likely. Steiners-Dudleyz would have been excellent 10 years ago. That battle royal made no sense and served no purpose.

This company will never get it. Although I do wish I saw Samoa Joe-Christian.

Also read that Joey Mercury (Matthews) and Johnny Swinger teamed up to face Sabin and Shelley in a dark match before the PPV. Mercury was pinned.

That sounds like a tryout match, but you know what Joey Mercury is at this point. Why have him job in his first appearance in front of TNA fans, even if it's just the ones in Atlanta?

Why not have Joey replace Pac Man instead of this Apollo Creed ripoff?
