Wrestling Observer says contrary to earlier reports, Booker T was not backstage at the TNA Impact tapings.

Scott Hall will be Sting's mystery partner, I believe. Makes sense since Nash is involved in the match. Although the last picture I saw of Hall he was an out-of-shape slob pushing 300 pounds.

Keep the mic away from Warrior, nutbag that he is.

In due time, NS. In the meantime, Meltzer mentioned today that Bobby Heenan turned 64 today. Happy Birthday to the Weas ... Brain!

Hall is reportedly in much better shape now.

    SPOILERS

Hall showed up for Tuesday's TNA tapings (the ones that'll air next Thursday), in which he shot the breeze with Nash and then said he wasn't Sting's partner. Sting came out and said he'd reveal his partner at the PPV.

Which is fine. I was worried they'd reprise the angle from a few years ago where Nash and Hall were backing different wrestlers in a world title match (Hall was with Jarrett, Nash was with ... I think Jeff Hardy) and Nash turned on his guy, thus starting the short-lived Kings of Wrestling stable.

If, for some reason it isn't Booker T, how about these choices for a poll?

    Ultimate Warrior
    Hulk Hogan
    The Rock
    Randy Savage
    Scott Hall
    RVD
    Chris Jericho
    Jeff Jarrett

Update: Thank god David Arquette isn't a former WWE champion. On second thought, is DDP done with wrestling altogether, too? He's a former WCW champ and a former WWE (tag) champion.

    I think it'll be Jarrett.

No way it's Warrior, Hogan, Rock or Jericho.

Of course, the coolest pick would be Baron Von Raschke, in my humble opinion, ... as manager!

I wonder if Double J is ready to come back yet.

He'd be the logical choice; he hasn't been on TV in some time outside of that brief comeback a few months ago. And he's an ex-WWE and WCW champion. On the other hand, if Booker T starts with them he can use the same theme music that he used in WWE and WCW because it's public domain (I remember they used it on Sportscenter once a few years ago).
