  1. Be something if his partner ended up being Jericho.

Wouldn't it, though? It would also be funny to see WWE screwed over for once!

According to Meltzer, Chris Masters suspended once again for violating the wellness policy (shocker, I know ::).

Harry Smith also gets a two-month vacation. Like father, like son...

Odd to think that two months ago, we were talking about the impending debut of the New Hart Foundation. There was talk that Bret Hart would introduce them, and that Save Us stuff that we assume is Jericho would have been them. Now Teddy Hart is fired and Harry Smith is suspended, just weeks after a lackluster and pointless debut. But pretty much anything connected to the Hart bloodline has been cursed beyond recognition anyway.

  5. First violation for Harry, so he's just gone a month.

  6. Anyone read Eric Bischoff's book? It mentions how WCW made more money on Sting when he wasn't wrestling because people were enthralled with why his character was in the rafters. He goes on to say that the payoff when Sting finally returned to the ring at Starcade proved to be the highest grossing ppv in WCW history-

Thinking along those lines- does anyone think WWE could milk the Jericho return angle for the next few months? After all, people are buying the ppv and watching the show just to see if the guy returns- its gotten WWE some of the biggest (positive) buzz they've received in years. Why not save him for a while?

As if Meltzer isn't the gold standard, but this moved on the wire ...

  8. Cyber Sunday was a let-down for two reasons- most importantly because people expected Jericho and he didn't show up.

And also- while the matchers were pretty solid, there was no closure at the event. At the end of every match, you knew you were going to see the same guys wrestle each other at Survivor Series. PPV's only deliver when a solid angle comes to a climax at the event. That didn't even come close to happening here.

WWE might as well cut Chris Masters now.

It wouldn't be that big of a loss.
