    Missed Raw.

What does the new finisher look like?

Kind of like an inverted backcracker.

Jericho runs up to the guy and sticks his knees in the guy's midsection and drops his knees under the chin.

So, from the Lion Tamer to the Code Breaker? I guess Vince doesn't care for submissions much. Too bad. Done properly, they can be beautiful finishes.

And bless Mickie James. She must have been cold prior to sliding under the ropes and posing for the ground camera. I saw a smokin' blonde behind the Target customer service desk tonight that was cold as well. Must be the right atmosphere for rock-hard nipples or something.

Does anybody really think that Flair will win a match a week until 'Mania?

And how disgusting is the Edge-Vickie storyline? I can't resist watching, so it must be working. That said, I miss Lita.

I like the Flair angle. It's got potential. He doesn't have to necessarily "win" every week. I could see guys like Shawn Michaels or Triple H giving him chair shots to save Flair and get the other guy DQd. Other faces will probably help him win matches along the way, too.
And Flair has said he wants one last title run. So, he could win the belt at the last PPV before WM, then either drop it at WM or -- in a twist -- keep it and retire undefeated. That'd be cool.

And on the topic of realistic finishers, I've always thought the backbreaker was pretty bad [/bad comic-book joke] :D

  5. The Sharpshooter is painful as can be. I've been put in one and it wasn't fun. I don't know how more wrestlers don't get hurt doing some of the moves they do. On the last Impact, AJ Styles got dropped right on his head by Samoa Joe after a modified sidewalk slam. It was nasty. Don't know how Styles finished the match.

Wasn't the DDT originally discovered because it "worked"?
IIRC, the story goes that Jake Roberts had someone in a front facelock, slipped, and the guy landed on his forehead and knocked him out. Everyone thought it was cool, and presto, a classic finisher was born.

You aren't going to be able to pull out a power bomb in real life, most likely, but you can hurt someone bad that way (see: Vader vs. Joe Thurmann).

Agreed, it really is nauseating, but so is the Edge "character" (even though he truly is one of the nicest and most gracious wrestlers this side of John Cena)...Vickie obviously wants to serve as a prominent role on television so agreed to this disgusting angle that was originally supposed to be handed to Kristal, before she quit.

I miss Kristal. Still the hottest Diva, in my humble opinion.

She's definitely up there, slightly behind my personal favorites Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, and Michelle McCool.

RIP: The Angel of Death (no pun intended).

    From WrestlingObserver.com:

We have gotten confirmation from the local police that Dave Sheldon, the former Angel of Death, passed away this past weekend at his home in Bedford, TX. No other details are available at the moment. Sheldon worked for almost every major promotion during his career except WWF, and started out with people like Sting and Ultimate Warrior in Southern California, as well as Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Chris Benoit, etc. in Stampede Wrestling. He was also one of the Russian Assassins for WCW.

He also worked in World Class, so between that and the Stampede wrestlers ... hey, maybe this was all HIS fault!

    Too soon? Eh.
