No, but if he left WWE, he'd go back to Puerto Rico and make a run at his dad's record for most WWC world title reigns.

Puerto Rico is one place I'd hate like hell to have to make my wrestling career. /Brody RIP

I don't understand the fascination of Carlito. His mic time is usually terrible, his schtick is lame and he's never put on a match that impressed me, even when they tried to push him. He's just fodder to help the main event guys build for the next PPV. Hence, the great line from Cena earlier this year about not doing shit in the three years he's been around.

For hell's sake, he's chasing a fucking leprechaun into a wall so Ron Simmons can do his weekly schtick. I'd rather see the time used to develop the tag-team championship as something worth a shit. I'd rather see Mickie James bouncing on a trampoline than Carlito with that stupid accent.

Or staring up at the lights against Hornswoggle either.

Eh, to each his own I guess...I'm a fan of Carlito and think he has some serious potential. When motivated and given enough time, he can put on a really good story in the ring. His mic work is entertaining and effortless; I especially liked his tirade on Torrie Wilson earlier this year.

WWE is low on him in large part because the company botched his face turn tremendously. Fans began cheering for him while he was a heel because he was a cool, hip, witty badass. Then the WWE completely changes his character while he's a face and he becomes more of a sympathetic boring character with Torrie. Fans kind of turned on him as a face, similar to what they did with Cena. I don't see why the WWE has to revamp these guys once they turn.

The WWE creative team could fuck up a wet dream.

Would love to be a fly on the wall in a WWE creative meeting to see just how moronic it would be to hear the ideas that DON'T make it, considering how bad things have been in the last few years.

The ideas that get tossed aside are probably good ones.

You give them too much credit.

  10. Just got through Jericho's book the other day. I wish it had been longer, that's how much I enjoyed it. It was really interesting to read his side of things when it came to working in WCW. That place was more fucked than a $2 whore. One thing that stood out was the angle he did/didn't do with Goldberg. If you remember, Jericho had beaten the midget Goldberg and claimed he had finally broken the streak. And this went on and on without Goldberg responding on TV. Goldberg confronted Jericho backstage about it and said he didn't do comedy angles. Bischoff wanted to end the "angle", but Jericho rallied behind it because he had turned nothing into something and the fans were digging it. Anyway, the angle was supposed to end with a squash match at a PPV and one of the reasons the match never happened because Goldberg said he had that particular PPV off and wasn't going to work no matter what. The angle was completely dropped and never referenced to again. That definitely gives you an idea about how fucked up that place was.

It also proves once again that Bill Goldberg was worthless as a pro wrestler.
