    Thought that was odd, too.

So who's not at the show? Orton?

  3. Not a very exciting show last night. This is where the push to Wrestlemania sort of begins. I'm very interested to see how the Flair, Trip match plays on New Year's Eve. Does does Trips just lay down and allow Flair to pin him? Or does Flair refuse and just try to beat Trips? This is a interesting twist to the storyline.

I could see a Flair-Trips mini-feud developing out of this. Trips tries to roll over for Flair, out of respect and wanting to keep him around, and Flair gets pissed because he's not getting the best from Triple H. Might even lead into a solid match for the Royal Rumble.

    Wouldn't mind that at all.

    Very lackluster Raw last night.

Respectfully disagree... great Raw last night.

Good promos from Hardy, JBL-Y2J and Flair, capped off by an electric main event with Hardy going over Orton clean (which means we know Hardy is not winning at the Rumble) with the crowd popping big time.

  7. I'm with Gutter. Rather entertaining from start to finish.

And Santino + Carlito as a team = gold

Raw would have been good if it weren't for Vince shoving himself down our throats with that godawful acting and stupid time-wasting segment.

McMahon made it a thumbs down for the rest of the show.

  9. Agreed. The whole McMahon thing at the start ruined the good vibe coming off the PPV. Not surprised to see the ratings fall back to normal this week, to 3.5.

This whole JBL/Y2J angle is already ridiculous. JBL hasn't wrestled in what, 18 months? And now he's wanting to get back in the ring with Jericho?

I hate the fact that WWE is going away from the "save us" from Randy Orton angle (as a side note, I'm glad to see Jeff Hardy finally getting a push) to this. I don't see this being a good rivalry, seeing as Y2J cannot lay a hand on JBL (at least that's how the sorry-ass story on WWE.com put it).

Only reason this feud is going on is that JBL's interference had to justify an angle for next week's troops special which was taped before the PPV. Perhaps Austin gets to stun JBL since Jericho can't touch him? YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Already, you get the sense that bringing Y2J back hasn't had the impact the WWE expected. While I'm glad to see he's back, the impact since his return has been less than overwhelming. Makes you wonder how much HHH has had with the direction of Jericho's storyline. His lust for the belt and attention is becoming very obvious.
