  2. Jeff Hardy is a sick man. If you watched the final sequence of RAW tonight, you know why. Don't want to spoil it for those who recorded it, but it was a sick move.

  3. I saw it too and called my brother so he could watch them replay it. The rest of the show was godawful, but that made the whole thing worth it. Unreal.

Flipped the title game over just in time to see that.

    Holy shit.

  5. I thought the rest of the show was eh, which is usually the case for the wheel. I'm interested to see where the Kennedy/HBK story line goes. I liked tonight's twist, even though it's been done a million times. I just like this feud, especially after that great match last week.

What was the deal with Haas and the mask?

Raw was decent. Obviously the highlight was the very good steel cage match main event. Jeff Hardy got the biggest pop of the night (yes, bigger than Trips/HBK) and in my mind cemented his main event status. Fun match with some sick moves by Hardy, especially the dive at the end. Place went absolutely crazy after the pin. Hardy stood afterwards for like 20 minutes posing on top of the cage, giving hugs, slapping hands, and embracing the crowd. In a way, he's taken over Cena's role as WWE's big, marketable, accessable, kid-friendly star.

Triple H vs. Regal was a very solid match too, but I wish it would have been given another 10 minutes.

I marked out when Foley emerged, I'm a huge fan and he seemed appreciative of the huge response he received. Wish they'd come up with a good way to use him properly.

I love this HBK vs. Kennedy feud, those two just have some fantastic chemistry in and out of the ring and seem to work well with each other. However, JBL/Jericho clearly do not. Hopefully this ends at the Rumble. The crowd was giving JBL X-Pac heat and the segment dragged on far too long. Just not working.

Dark matches included Atlas DaBone vs. Nick Nemeth. DaBone has Carlito-esque hair but is jacked and very charismatic playing the face role. I like his chances of being a major Raw player sooner rather than later. Nemeth, a former Spirit Squad member, cut a good promo to piss the crowd off and shows potential. Pretty decent, albeit limited, match between them. Duggan/Super Crazy beat two black jobbers that were dressed like members of the old Nation of Domination. DH Smith beat a local New York wrestler. Santino vs. Brian Kendrick with Santino scoring the win cleanly.

That's too bad. I really like the kid and hope this doesn't taint his career too much.

He's definitely got the talent, charisma, and size (he doesnt need steriods and what was he thinking? they killed his father) and is only 22 which is like an infant in professional wrestling years. He could be a really big time star in the next few years if he gets his head on straight. Sadly, he's may currently be best known (besides being Davey Boy's son of course) as the guy Brooke Hogan ripped to shreds on Hogan Knows Best after Hulk tried to set them up.

I never saw that episode. Or has it even aired yet?
