I was able to catch some of Smackdown last night too. London vs. Kendrick would be great, I agree with GS. I just hope they let them have the time. Benoit vs. Chavo means nothing to me as this "feud" drags and is just a waste of time. How about Benoit vs. Noble? That would be a good match to see and, if given time, would showcase both guys very well and give Noble the rub that he can go.

Why, though, is Cena going to be on a Smackdown PPV? I know guys are moving all around right now, but is this planting a seed for a Cena-Batista feud? Batista's supposed to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania, but perhaps they feud after WM23?

I had heard somewhere that McMahon was having Cena dabble on SmackDown a little bit to help take credit for the show's upswing in ratings. After all, RAW is the flagship show and there's no way SmackDown could be any good on its own, right? Right? :)
Cena vs. Batista? Good God! How horrible would that be?

Hey GS, a Cena-Batista feud would be as good as a Brian Adams-Brian Clark feud .... :D

His finisher is the full nelson slam? Hahahahahahahaha! What a loser.

Most of the wrestlers hate Batista anyway.

    True story.

Saw this today on www.gerweck.net about a wicked sounding injury to Lance Storm. I know I'd feel a lot less comfortable hearing my doctor say what is said at the end of the note ...

According to Bryan Alvarez of www.f4wonline.com, Lance Storm suffered a broken hyoid (the only bone in your throat), as the result of a clothesline to the neck from Christian Cage. The two had a match last weekend in Toronto. Storm couldn't talk or eat when he returned home, and just learned the news yesterday during a visit to his doctor. The doctor told Storm he had never seen such an injury.

I thought Storm had been forced to retire a long time ago.

    Man that sounds pretty gruesome.

Storm did "retire" to start his own wrestling academy. Among his students is Bret Hart's son. Storm wrestles on rare occasions, but maybe this injury will make him reconsider permanently.

TNA's Turning Point PPV is tonight. Anyone watching? By the way, this is the fourth of five Sundays in a row that a pro wrestling PPV is on (TNA's Genesis, WWE's Survivor Series, WWECW's December to Dismember, TNA's Turning Point and next week WWE's Armaggedon).

I can't ever justify plopping down 30 bucks for a pay per view. I haven't bought one since Starrcade 97.

Personally, I just pay $14 for the DVD and then I can watch it as much as I want.

David Eckstein, the World Series MVP, will be in attendance at the TNA PPV tonight. Is he competing in a midget match?

Not ordering Turning Point. I'll probably <strike>download it a few hours after it ends</strike> read the results online.
I can't believe they had Angle pin Joe cleanly on TV two days before their rematch. Joe should destroy him tonight to get some heat back, but I know that isn't gonna happen.
