And Guerrero/Malenko, which lasted about five minutes and was the worst match the two have ever had.

Actually, Malenko and Guerrero opened the show with a 15-minute match.

    It went about 15 minutes.

There was also Bischoff vs. Zbysko, Saturn vs. Benoit in a Ravens rules match and the major screwjob of the Hogan / Sting match.

We also were screwed out of a promised Kevin Nash vs. The Giant match, but I was too young to realize that match would have sucked, anyway.

So RVD loses to Test on WWECW? Someone's already in full de-push mode.

He's been on de-push mode ever since the pipe incident. He and Sabu are on the outs, and Heyman's apparent departure doesn't help.

If I can join in the discussion...there's a CM Punk DVD out that's available on Netflix. Anyone know where the footage is from or if it's worth getting?

Wow, I would love to have that job, but i don't have any TV experience.

They have posted those on a regular basis for years. Vince is still in love with television writers, even though they know little about wrestling or what makes the product good. Who needs Heyman or Cornette when some 25-year-old dipshit, whose first memories of wrestling is Triple H winning the title, has a screen credit.

I think it's hilarious that they demand that when Vince, Stephanie and HHH don't possess any of these qualities.

www.gerweck.net reports this about possible Wrestlemania 23 matches (nothing confirmed, of course) ...

With no matches officially announced, here is a list of matches being discussed for Wrestlemania 23 at Ford Field in Detroit:

    - The Undertaker vs. Batista (Wrestlemania winning streak vs. World title)
    - John Cena vs. Triple H or Randy Orton (Cena is scheduled to hold the WWE title until Wrestlemania, but of course, that could always change)
    - Mick Foley vs. Vince McMahon
    - The Big Show vs. Hulk Hogan
    - Bobby Lashley vs. CM Punk
    - The report also mentions a possible JBL vs. ? match. Maybe Ron Simmons?

Also, WWE has given up on trying to convince Steve Austin to wrestle, but he is penciled in to have a role on the show, although nothing has been confirmed.

Claws add: Ugh on a Lashley-Punk match. Why can't Punk wrestle Benoit in a cross-promotion match?

Foley vs. McMahon? Ugh. That means we'll probably be seeing a lot of Vince and Foley (and maybe Terry Funk) in the coming months.

Lashley vs. Punk? I think Punk is a great worker and deserved a title run more so than Lashley. But Trips and Stephanie wouldn't let him do it.

Cena holding the title for another four and a half months? Ugh. [drippingwithsarcasm] Just give the damn thing to Umaga and get it over with. [/drippingwithsarcasm]

Taker vs. Batista? Yawn. I'd rather see Taker win the title in the next few weeks and then defend it against Kane at WM23. I know the storyline has been done before, but that's just me.
