Sadly, no. You'd read it, though, and see what I saw after reading Vince's letter: He was right.

The only matches there I'd be excited to see are RVD vs. Hardy and Benoit vs Punk.

I'm tired of watching guys like Foley and Funk who can't go anymore.

As for the statement about McMahon, I totally agree. I mean, how big is his ego now? A few months ago, during the McMahons-DX feud, both Edge (the WWE Champion) and Johnny Nitro (IC Champion) wrestled significant matches against good competition.

And neither of them was in the main event.

    Ridiculous.

Did Vince give you a spiel about how its the wrestlers' fault for their problems and not WWE or the WWE lifestyle? If so, VKM is an f'in moron. In Hennig's case, yeah, he should have all responsibility on himself given that he had a drug problem, but it took Eddie Guerrero dying for VKM to finally take some of the blame publicly.

  4. If you are applying, don't even mention a PASSING familiarity with Meltzer, Keller or any of the dirt sheets.

In fact, perhaps best to pretend you have no knowledge of the Internet whatsoever.

Better yet, build a time machine, go back and sabotage Al Gore so that the Internet isn't even created,

If Taker's streak is on the line this year against Batista (or whomever), then that match should be the main event.

I like Trips, but it's way past time to put someone else in the main event spotlight at WrestleMania.

At least we aren't being fed the Vince/Shane vs. HBK/God anymore.

Raw after Wrestlemania will feature God joining VKM's Kiss my Ass club. :-X

Why did someone have to mention the insulting Trip-Cena main event from last year's WM? Did I REALLY see it end that way?

    Quick poll ...

    Triple H vs. ? at Wrestlemania 23:

Lashley, for the ECW title (so he could say he won every top title possible)
Cena, for the WWE title (again)
Batista, for the World title (revive the Evolution feud)
Orton, feuding with a babyface HHH
Orton, feuding with a heel HHH
    Edge, feuding with babyface HHH
    Edge, feuding with heel HHH
Michaels, in a feud because Michaels turned on HHH
Michaels, in a feud because HHH turned on Michaels
    None of the above

Claws' pick would be Triple H being found bloodied in the backstage area and unable to compete in a Wrestlemania match. In other words, none of the above ;D

I say -- tenatively and not with a great deal of enthusiasm -- a heel Shawn Michaels. HBK is better when he's heeling, and he and HHH have great chemistry together (as they should, being long-time gay lovers friends).

The problem with Edge or Orton is by the time we get to WM 23, they'll have been feuding for something like six months. The epic slow build worked for Batista-H, but we'll have seen these guys together so much that even a Hell in a Cell match wouldn't have the epic quality a WM main even should have.

H-Cena, as I noted earlier, needs more time to settle before we throw them back at each other again. Lashley doesn't interest me in the least as a dance partner. Batista might, and I could see H wanting his win back after jobbing to him three times in a row two years ago.

One half of the World's Greatest Tag Team is now a father. Charlie Haas and his wife, Jackie Gayda of WWE/TNA fame are parents of a girl, Kayla.

  12. Just about choked on my water with this statement from JBL: Matt Hardy as a main eventer. Never going to happen. As popular as he is with the fans, I just don't see it happening. And man, Smackdown is so much better than RAW right now. I definitely wasn't thinking that six months ago.
