What a weak assed show, especially coming off a PPV.

At least there was a Mickie James sighting......that made it that much better.

I was laughing at the booing, "Boring," "We want wrestling!" and especially the "TNA" chants during that fiasco.

Better yet, Vinnie Mac was at ringside and could hear every word of it loud and clear.

As long as Mr. StepHHHanie McMaHHHon is still in the family, Punk won't get the monster push. He's not allowed to use the Pepsi Plunge (top rope pedigree) because it might upstage HHH.

Do you know where he got a hold of those? I'd love to get my hands on some.

    eBay, perhaps?

RAW is delayed here and I just saw the Rosie / Trump thing about half an hour ago.

Holy crap it was great to hear the TNA chant. How can Vince continue to let this kind of crap on TV when it's clear his fanbase wants something else?

I was there --- that was fantastic. I couldn't see Vince's reaction to it from where I was sitting (about 20 rows back, directly opposite the entrance ramp, in the front row of non-floor stands -- Umaga ran in right in front of me), but we were busting up laughing at that. It was boring and stupid as you could have ever imagined. As soon as it was over, Vince got up and ran up the ramp out of the arena. I don't know if he usually does that, or if he was pissed and wanted to chew out whoever he held responsible (even though it was probably himself).

I know it was a weak show, but I had a blast. Seeing those guys in person is cool. I couldn't get over how big Viscera and Great Kahli are -- I think Kahli's nipple could eat my face.

That new Russian guy "I love double double E" wrestled on Heat before the real show began -- he's another token giant guy, who's gonna be a Commie foreign heel I guess. His intro video had a bunch of soldiers marching and planes dropping bombs and stuff.

It was cool when Umaga ran in. Near the end of the show, a bunch of security guys and STL police gathered around the exit/entrance there at the floor in the corner, and they opened a gate that had been closed all night, while the other corner remained closed, so we knew somebody was either going in or coming out that entrance. So we watched there as the last fight went on, and at some point a family of about three was starting to head into that exit tunnel, leaving early to beat traffic or something I guess, when a security guy practically tackled them out of the way just as Umaga came sprinting past. He ran into a bunch of spectators on his way down the aisle, too -- I wonder how the WWE hasn't gotten in trouble from some fan who got bowled over or something doing that?

And I do have a question -- they filmed some things twice, and I can't figure out why. For example, Orton and Edge came out together once with Edge's smoke intro, walked down the ring, turned around and walked back out. Then about a minute later, the music started again, they walked back in with no smoke, got in the ring and began talking. I couldn't figure out why they entered twice like that. They did the same thing with the show's introduction -- Lilian Garcia gave the crowd a 10 second warning to start time, then the music began, the lights flashed and all that jazz (except the fireworks). Then it stopped. About two minutes later, she gave the crowd another time warning, and again with the music, the lights flashing and this time fireworks. I couldn't figure out why they did it twice.

I've been to a lot of Raws and I've never seen that happen. They'll sometimes reshoot things for Smackdown, but that's a taped show, which has the magic of post-production editing. I don't know how you do something like that with a live show. I was half-awake watching it on DVR last night after football, but it looked like Edge and Orton came to the ring as they were going to commercial, and then they had them in the ring and ready to talk when they came back from the break. Weird.

It's possible they missed the timing on the ad breaks? Or perhaps the original plan was to cut to Edge and Orton in the ring out of the break, then Vince decided he wanted some sort of intro instead (he's apparently a micromanager). The other thing is it would have really screwed up WWE Unlimited, assuming they do that anymore (for a while they were hyping up their website as the place to go to see what happens during commercial breaks, though I think USA came down on them for encouraging viewers to ignore the ads).

Anyone want to venture a guess that when Edge and Orton oppose Shawn Michaels next week or at the Royal Rumble that one of these three will turn (heel/babyface)?

Just as long as X-Pac doesn't show up to make the save as the new DX member.

    I'm dreading the possibility.

I dunno, I feel if McMahon really wanted to bring him back, he would have done it already.
