A.J., Eckstein and Torborg are all on TNA wrestling because they find it entertaining and they get to interact with guys they've grown up watching. It's the same for any athlete who wants to be a rock star. Rock stars want to be athletes. And, truth be told, Torborg was actually a pro wrestler for a short stint. He was The Demon, a blatant KISS character in the vein of Gene Simmons.

As for EStreetJoe .... this Claw's for You!

On a serious note... wouldn't Chicago have something in A.J.'s contract that prevents him from participating in such a thing? There is a chance someone could accidentally perform a move wrong, or hit him with a chair wrong, and then bam, we have Kellen Winslow/Ben Roethlisberger/Jay Williams-type of injury (not same type, but same manner where the athlete is injured off the field.) And same with Eckstein and the Cards???

There's probably carefully delineated circumstances under which he can compete. He won't likely be forced to take many if any bumps, and he'll be in with veteran wrestlers who know how to handle a non-wrestler. He won't be wrestling Kurt Angle or Samoa Joe, both of whom could probably legitimately kill him using just three random fingers.

I could be wrong, but I think the whole Pierzynski thing started last year because, of all things, of ESPNews. One of the anchors called him "The Phenomenal" A.J. Pierzynski, an obvious reference to long-time TNA wrestler "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles. One thing led to another, and here you go.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Oh, and my 2 cents. Randy Orton = hot. A.J. Styles = country-boy hot. John Cena = come to mama. Carlito = ugly as sin, cut the hair. Triple H = eh, could take him or leave him. Shaun Michaels = was cuter back in the early 90s. Jeff Hardy = BARF!

Randy Orton's wikipedia page says he was court martialed and dishonorably discharged from the military. Is that true?

Besides, I don't think Randy Orton's available for people of her kind (female).

And if you sleep with Jeff Hardy, you'll fail any workplace drug test on Earth the next day.

I dunno, but that's interesting. I wonder if his dad smacked a general in the head with that cast...

That's the rumor. His less-than-stellar treatment of women in the backstage area is more documented, so at some point he may just throw in the towel and turn Rated RKO into Rated XXX.

According to several web sites, former ECW World Champ and WWE/WCW star Bam Bam Bigelow was found dead this morning in his home in Florida. He was 45.
He was one of the most athletic big men of all time. My favorite memories of Bigelow was his performance in the first Survivor Series, and his ECW matches against Taz and RVD. He also saved several children from a fire a few years ago, suffering serious burns in the process.
