It sounds like Flair's going to play the part of the "when I was your age I walked uphill in a blizzard both ways to get to the ring" character. He worked with Hardy and Kenny Dykstra (god, what a retarded name), and now this confrontation with Carlito. Worst case scenario: some sort of young vs. old feud that bombed spectacularly in WCW as New Blood v. Millionaire's Club. Best case scenario: Flair restarts the Four Horsemen with some combination of the aformentioned wrestlers and others.

Do they even care about the brand splits anymore? If Smackdown is so berefit of star power that Cena has to be in a SD PPV main event two times running, then maybe they need to give up on the matter. Though Cena-HBK ought to be a good match, because HBK is wrestling as well as he has in some time, and Cena always nuts up for the big shows.

Who the hell did Johnny Nitro piss off to job to Super Crazy? I thought he established his bona fides as a future main eventer in the Jeff Hardy feud. Why suffer even a tainted loss to a guy who just now escaped the purgatory we call Heat?

I'm just not big on ending two consecutive Raw shows with stare downs. Last week's was great because everyone thought Taker was challenging Cena for his title. Then Taker shows up on ECW the next night and on SD on Friday.

Flair's promo was great, but he's always been great on the mic. I just hate what they've done with him over the last few years.

I know the crowd was hot for Mickie-Melina...that was one helluva match. I've enjoyed Mickie since they turned her face after the feud with Trish last year.

And it may be just me, but I don't like Super Crazy being in WWE. He's a watered-down version of the wrestler he was in ECW, but so are a lot of the superstars today.

Raw was filled with promise, but those 3-way dances are AWFUL because one guy always takes an extended break outside the ring. Looks like Umaga should be managed by VKM when he and Trump have their showdown for WM 23. Who should he face?

    Benoit isn't doing anything yet.

I thought they were going to stick him with The Great Khali. Why waste a superheavyweight with some talent and coming off a four-star match with Cena on an automatic loss when they've got Khali, taller but worlds suckier? A Hogan match at this stage is going to be little more than spectacle; why not use someone more expendable?

    Oh, right, because it's Hogan.

I know it won't happen, but I still want to see Big Show vs. Hogan on the anniversary of Hogan vs. Andre.

That was the idea, but apparently Big Show is completely unable to work anymore. Maybe if they're lucky they can get one more match out of him, like at WM 24, but that's it. Even if he were reasonably healthy, I don't think he'd want any part of it anyway. It sounds like he's ready to put wrestling behind him and become the world's largest comedy star. More power to him.

Hogan vs. Khali is the best option as BAD as that was to type. Vince with Khali and Trump with Hogan?

Benoit vs. Finlay vs. Regal would be my choice, but then again, it's a 3-way dance and we all know how I feel about those WWE style.

Another option for Benoit ... have him face CM Punk in a ECW/Smackdown match. Or, Benoit vs. RVD

I'd rather see Benoit vs. RVD than Benoit vs. Punk. No offense to Punk, but Benoit and RVD are two of the best technical wrestlers in the biz today.

Hogan (with Trump) vs. Khali (with VKM) -- UGH. Although this will finally give VKM the chance to kill his "creation" once and for all...

RVD is athletic and entertaining, but he's not a 'technical' wrestler. He's a spot artist, and entertaining one, but still a spot artist.
