Joe knows who is signing the checks, I guess.

  2. Sure, but you have to question TNA essentially biting the hand that fed them--the Internet "smart" crowd--between TV deals, and before the Christians, Stings and Angles of the world showed up.

I usually get Monday's NYTimes and today's national edition had an ad for a men's suits store. The fetaured person in the photo was the Big Show as he was getting measured for a suit.

I just had a completely "mark-out" moment: I downloaded a file from xtremewrestlingtorrents.net called WWF Maple Leaf Wrestling (one of WWF's weekly TV shows in Canada) from 9/13/84. I mainly downloaded it because it had the debut of Bret Hart, teaming with The Dynamite Kid against two scrubs. Classic footage. However, I totally marked out cuz Hogan was scheduled to fight Moondog Rex. Hogan's music hit and, nope, not "Real American." ... It was Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger!" Yes! Being a fan of the business since 1982, I remember Hogan coming into this theme music originally. It always pumped me up.

Since I admitted I just "marked out," when was your last mark-out moment?

Y2J over HHH to kick off Raw several years ago ... temporarily winning the WWF title:

And for a couple of WWF debuts:

Jericho (I was there... that was deafening!) ...

    The Radicalz ...

Speaking of Bruiser Brody, we have this incident from a year or two after his murder at the hands of Invader I, where Manny Fernandez gets his receipt on Invader III (NSFW): http://www.wrestlinggonewrong.com/video/manny_fernandez_kneedrop.html

Sidenote: I got bored a few days ago and Wikipedia'd old wrestlers, including The Raging Bull, and I never knew about this. So I Googled it and saw the video linked from an Arkansas fanboy website run on SMF. This sparked a discussion about how Manny should have finished Invader III off because of what he did to Brody, and who should step in to clarify which Invader was the murderer but our very own board savior, Douglas himself. Small world.

O'Haire is god-awful these days. Honestly, I feel bad for the guy. He's gotten off all of the juice, and he looks awful and has zero chin. Butterbean beat him in about 2 minutes, and some guy I've never heard of beat him in about 2 minutes as well.

I like the guy, but he's got to get his edge back or something, because right now he's getting killed in MMA.

MM and Omar - You guys are probably right about Angle, but I'd still like to see him give it a go. Why not?

I always knew Samoa Joe was a great athlete, but I heard he runs like a 4.5 40, and his vertical is like 44 inches. Damn! That's some sick stuff.

Did Raw really not show tonight because of the Westminster Dog Show?
