MM, not sure about Hardy. If Nitro's not in the MITB match after the loss to Punk and Hardy drops the IC title, then there's another MNM/Hardys match in the works of some kind.

 

Joe wrestled Davey Richards, not Rave. Davey-Joe was supposed to take place last week in Philly but Davey was hurt so the Joe/Rave match originally scheduled for Dayton took place instead.

Once Nana left (boo) and they dropped the Embassy gimmick, ROH banned the whole TP thing. A couple of guys did chuck rolls at Rave, and I think they got tossed out for it.

 

I thought the MITB match was already set? Three guys, one from each brand...

 

The first two matches have involved six guys, and I'm pretty sure that this year's will as well.

 

Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy wrestle tonight. There'll be another match on ECW and on Smackdown.

 

Nice fucking entrance, Lashley. I think that's been done before too...

Wrestlemania 15 was god-awful too, outside of the Austin-Rock match (and even that was the worst of their three WM encounters).

This year's MITB match will have eight people, according to Raw last night, a show that I thought was one of the most well laid out programs they've had in a while. The "Michaels is a backstabber" video package at the beginning was brilliant (can you believe it's been 15 YEARS since the Barber Shop incident?!), and the payoff at the end with Michaels framing Orton was smart. Fun show.

 

Raw was pretty good last night. They made Trump's announcement of Bobby Lashley as his representative in the hair vs. hair match seem bigger than it was (though again, here we are with the willy-nilly pulling of wrestlers from different brands. They're not even trying to acknowledge the integrity of the brand split, much less protect it). Hardy and Benjamin did a good job covering Benjamin's springboard botch, though really, with those two guys, what were the chances one of them wouldn't blow a big move? The main event was entertaining and they did a great job continuing the "HBK can't be trusted" angle, but I wish they'd get the tag belts onto a team that could use the rub of gold. The tag belts have added very little to this feud. Still good stuff with a lot more hits than misses.

ECW, on the other hand ... tonight's main event is Lashley and Hardcore Holly in a cage. They could wrestle in space at this point and I wouldn't care.

 

There was a bajillion upsets and every fight was either a KO or submission finish. That and the fights were pretty good.

 

Also, Test was released, thus sparing us any more brutal ECW main events. Guess there wasn't room for him with *snicker* Snitsky onboard.

 

He was? I thought he just got "suspended" for violating the wellness policy.

Speaking of wellness policy, the Briscoes from ROH are totally juicing. I've never seen so much backne.
