Let's harp on the cross country people now.

I got a call from a coach the other day and this dude was pissed. there's only like 19,000 friggin meets each week with coverage area schools involved. Only like two schools fax in results. Fuck that.

 

that means so much coming from some loser hack who couldn't make it in this field.

 

You truly are the most mean-spirited for no reason prick on this board...
Now that I've broken a cardinal rule about feeding trolls, go back under the bridge....

Why hasn't anyone called anyone else “Butt-Rash Face” yet?

Anyway, I cover three high schools. First and foremost is the one in the town where the paper is located. The other two are in the same school district, on opposite ends of the county, and are bitter, bitter rivals. School A consistently faxes game summaries, stats, etc. School B doesn't send squat. I put in the paper what I receive.

So, School B is having a pretty good volleyball season. School A's is slightly better. School A sends in results, school B does not. Phone has been ringing off the hook from pissed School B parents. I refer them to the coach. Coach emails me and says she has been sending results religiously to my personal email address (I haven't erceived a thing all season, and I check it 8-10 times per day). I call bullshit on her, in a polite way. Today the principal calls and tells me the coach has been sending stuff. I told him I wasn't getting it. She emails me again and basically tells me I am pulling favortism by not putting her results in the paper. I once again tell her, politely, that I haven't received ANYTHING. She has become very mean and condescending toward me (like I give a rat's ass). Trouble is, I'll have to deal with her during basketball season. I sent her an email trying to patch things up, but it did no good.

Looking forward to some fun times in basketball season. ;D

 

Could it be getting caught by a spam filter?

 

That is a very distinct possibility, and one that I hadn't thought of.
If so, why would she all of a sudden be able to email me when the shit started hitting the fan?
