My friend, I suspect this site itself is not packed full of Mr. Justin Timberlakes!

I saw his perfect game in Triple A when he was pitching for the Nashville Sounds against Albuquerque. (April 7, 2003)
Along with never forgetting something so cool, the original plan was to never stay for the whole game. My buddy had green on Syracuse to win the NCAA title and the game was that night, so we planned to leave about 30 minute before tip-off. My wife was with us and was not yet a baseball fan. Somewhere in the 5th inning she started to ask us if we were leaving. Me and my buddy are superstitious nerds, so we just kept saying no. But obviously, we couldn't explain to her why or we would jinx Wasdin. LOL
Somewhere in the 7th the game tips off and my buddy keeps having to turn around between pitches to try to watch the game up in the corner of the press box (we were in the stands near the batter warm up circle) and my wife still doesn't know why we are still there if he wanted to watch the basketball game so much.
Do we had to tell her, we'll explain later, look at the scoreboard, figure it out. Finally, she starts to get the drift that something is happening and we have to stay.
Wasdin drops a curveball into the dirt on a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs in the top of the ninth for his 15th K. We all go nuts.
Still a favorite sports story and, in my mind, more random than by chance driving through Milwaukee 5 years later and hearing the Cubs had to play Houston in Milwaukee because of Hurricane Ike hitting Texas. Tickets were dirt cheap and my buddy was still at work when I got to town, so I went. Carlos Zambrano threw a no-hitter! LOL

I am staunchly heterosexual, but raise an eyebrow at the suggestion Jimmy Key is an ugly man.

None of those guys are Andy Etchebarron ugly.

I am not sure I can name an entire all-homely team, 1990s edition. But I am pretty sure that Willie McGee would be the captain.

I actually consider McGee more of a 1980s player, but his career went to 1999, so.

Alvaro Espinoza would like to throw his hat from his very square head into the funny looking ring.
