From what I’ve seen along the roads the last few weeks, it’s armadillos here. Plenty of possums and coons and deers, too. Coyotes, dogs and cats.

But a lot of armadillos.

The first one I saw was a huge fucker on the way to Truman for some crappie fishing. Thirty years ago, at least.
