I am so giggling that the Locked Threads thread got locked. You knew it would happen; I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, and that it contained a California Golden Seals jersey.

 

It's only fitting that a thread on Locked Threads got locked, and it took way longer to get ugly than what I though it would.

 

In today's baseball game I saw something I'd never seen before: a batter called out after swinging and missing, then stepping on home plate. I guess that's not allowed.

Anyone ever seen that?

 

why are church pews so uncomfortable?
why can't we get lazy-boys up in that sanctuary?

 

Never saw that. But in one of the games in my area last week a high school pitcher picked off the side. Three batters reach first base via walk or hit and all three get picked off to retire the side in order.

 

The main problem is not having padding on the top of the pew in front of you. You doze off and THWACK!

 

I actually really liked that Locked thread. It was one of those weird trains of thought threads we sometimes get around here. I'm sorry it went in a tailspin.

 

I think I missed that. Link anyone?
