Random Thoughts, the Sequel

I know ... it looks like it could have come from a camera from one of us in Toronto.

But, on second thought, that billboard - or mural - was directly on the side of a building, wasn't it? IJAG would never have climbed down from that building. Thank goodness for small miracles.

 

I'm a homer, so I would say yes. The rest of the country would say no, which I could understand because he's a sell-high candidate and because the Royals don't score enough runs to help him win games like, say, Josh Beckett.

 

I had Flaps Beckett for 3 years. Every other bloody week he went on the DL with that damn flappy-skinned finger. I knew it would happen this year. 7-0 was too good of a start for him. I expected Ol' Flappy McFinger to go on the DL. If Sox fans think a 15-day stint on the DL will fix the problem, they're sorely mistaken.

 

Beckett = soft.

 

Draft Gallardo if you can. He's the Brewers' top AAA pitcher right now, tearing it up in the minors. He'll be up soon. Can't wait.

I'm a pacer by nature (hate sitting still), so I just move around a lot and pass the time reading -- bulletins, pamphlets, anyhing that's on the wall. My attention span in church is pretty bad. I try to pay attention to the gospel and homily; otherwise, I'm usually in my own world.
