Everything. Seriously. I'm about to pick up some songs I love, but have never owned, like Johnny Cash singing "Hurt".

Then check out the following artists:
Slaid Cleaves, Rod Picott, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Tift Merritt, Old 97s, Waco Brothers, Kasey Chambers. It's hard to narrow it down to one song by each artist.

I'd recommend either Stray Paper or Good Hearted Man by Tift Merritt. Try the 30 second preview on both and pick the one you like better. Or get both.

I love Old 97s and Kasey Chambers. Good call on both.

    I'll check out the others.

Agree on Good Hearted Man, but not Stray Paper. I like Laid a Highway, Late Night Pilgrim, Tambourine and Write My Ticket better than Stray Paper.

Boots... you do realize that I'm adding Dan Bern to the list of artists I'd recommend.
I've got nobody on ignore and don't plan on adding anybody to that list.

Since we have so many New Mexicans on here I figure I may get some answers to this question:
I am thinking of going to Ruidoso next weekend for some gambling, drinking and hopefully debauchery. Any suggestions on where to stay and what bars to go to?
