He was very vague. I woulda called him, but my phone was mostly dead.

 

I just got 10 hours of pretty good sleep. Only problem is, it's 4:44 in the a.m. and I'm wide awake.

Petty, wanna go shoot some pool?

cool, i'll meet you at Mom and Pop's on Main Street in Dodge City, Kansas.

 

pool my man, pool.

and you know what? i've always wanted to go to dodge city, always.

 

dodge city is an interesting little piece of americana. cobbled roads, a guggenheim library, daily newspaper, cool sportsbar with good burgers and beer (can't remember the name of the joint) that is loyal to kansas state, and a ford dealership that sucks donkey balls. oh, and mom and pop's pool hall.

 

maybe you and i should host a sj gathering there.

 

didn't you know buck, most of us have put texas on ignore.
