No one really hit this out of the park. I'm surprised. Saddened, even.

(That being said, I can't turn on fastballs, so I'll leave the bidding to someone else.)

You've got a point there Sxy. Some of my best haircuts were provided for free by my now ex-mother-in-law. After the divorce? Eh, not so sure I'd want to place my hair in her hands.

OK...that came out sounding really weird.

OK, I'll give it a shot.

Nah ... Better not. Might be called on to back up the claim.

I really miss the smell of a freshly opened pack of baseball cards that had bubble gum in it.
Crappiest, stalest, hardest bubble gum in the world, but it was a great smell.

Wednesday, after work, was unexpectedly wonderful.

First, Rallen13 and I had our usual Wednesday dinner, with him treating me to really good Tex-Mex. Then we watched two episodes of The West Wing, including Shibboleth, one really great episode.

After he left, my ex brought my little man over for an unplanned visit and asked me to take care of him since she had an appointment the next morning.

So for about two hours, he and I played March Madness on the PS2, ate Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and colored.

    Very, very, very nice.

    Cool.

Were you able to stay inside the lines? ;D

    While coloring? Yes.
While playing March Madness? No. I kept getting called for back-court violations because the defense kept putting pressure on my tiny-assed point guard.

I didn't get any Reese's Peanut Butter cups, and I paid for the damn dinner! What's the deal?

Little Man brought them to me.

You're only 35 and he's already having to take feed you and entertain you? Good help us all when you reach rest home age.

Well, he's not called Little Man for a giggles. ;)

He has most definitely picked up my double addiction -- Doritos and RPBC. In fact, he calls it orange candy, even when it's in a yellow wrapper thanks to the Easter holiday.

For the record, RPBC is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The old man didn't know what it meant and called to ask me for clarification, so I figured it might be needed here, too.

Surely there's a better way to refer to this candy than spelling out that monstrosity.

    Reese's should do it.
