What about the 'S' girl at ASU? Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Maybe my favorite memory from the post-Katrina game vs. LSU in 2005.

"Sunrise, Sunset" from "Fiddler on the Roof" is a beautiful song. Don't think I've heard it since I was a kid, but I just heard an instrumental version of it on the radio.

I went to a game where a girl went 3 for 4 with 8 RBIs. Another girl went 1 for 1 with 3 runs scored. Only in softball or baseball can a player only get one hit, but score three times.

As opposed to all those other sports that involve hits and runs. ::)

I think if you got what I was saying was that in no other sport can a player be as successful in which their big stats are not phenomenal, but the end result is through lesser stats. (Eg: walks and HBP in baseball/softball)

there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Or like basketball in which people can average 5 points but win defensive player of the year?

Or in soccer, where they may not score a goal but can be a hell of a stopper?

Yeah, you're right. It happens in no other sports. Good call.
