Maybe you could get them to come to Chicago, though.

I'm pretty sure they did an episode in Chicago. I think so anyway, all those HGTV shows kind of run together.

  3. There is a spin-off called Love It or List It, Too based in Vancouver, with Jillian Harris, known from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette", as the designer.

Saw my first "List It" episode last week.

It's not just white yuppies, but there are plenty of them.

My wife got me into watching Million Dollar Listing, which follows three douchey real estate agents trying to sell ridiculously expensive houses to even douchier buyers or developers.

I can't say I'm proud, but I've grown to enjoy it.

Seeing another one now (I can't turn away). A couple want to stay or move based on a vegan lifestyle and needing storage room for the husband's 10 bikes. Jillian is primly cute

You might be thinking of House Hunters. They've filmed a bunch in Chicago.

I'm pretty sure all of the Love it or List it episodes have been filmed around Toronto.

There's ALWAYS a huge structural or engineering problem with the existing house that cuts the renovation budget in half.

    Substandard Canadian construction.

Mike Holmes will make it right!

    Or the Property Brothers!

  11. The smarmy real estate agent can never find a great house in their neighborhood. Of course, why can't anyone move a few miles away?

We've got provisions - and lots of beer.
The key word is survival on the new frontier.
